Speed and Strength Off The Chain 2.0 Jacket

Assaulting the streets in full force is the Speed & Strength Off the Chain riding jacket. Breaking the mold of today’s traditional riding jacket styling, the Off the Chain is for those who don’t play by the rules. This hooded, bomber-style jacket really doesn’t fit into any category or riding style-and that’s exactly what Speed & Strength intended. A rugged appearance, and biker overtones cater to the urban naked bike rider, V-twin die hard, and even the wild-at-heart casual commuter.

More than just attitude, the Off the Chain jacket offers a water resistant AR-600 frame with C.E. approved shoulder, elbow and spine protectors. A removable “hoodie” sweatshirt works as the fleece liner and is fully removable for casual use off the bike. As an added bonus (and entirely appropriate for this jacket) an incorporated concealed carry pocket is an extremely convenient feature for those 2nd amendment supporters. Made to make an impact on today’s culture, and protect against impacts on the street, the Speed and Strength Off the Chain 2.0 jacket is a solid 3-season option for any style riding.

Awesome

I purchased this jacket in January. Been using it almost everyday I ride. Weather as cold as 25. It's absolutely perfect for the colder weather with the liner inside of it. When it got into the 50s and 60s there is no use for the liner. That being said, anything past 70 degrees it starts to heat up. The vents on the biceps and back are great but do not allow enough air flow. Great jacket for colder months but far too warm for the warmer ones.

Off the Chain 2.0 jacket

Great jacket overall, good cold weather jacket, if you pull out the hoodie the elbow and back armor are fitted perfectly in the jacket and to your body. Jacket fits really good without the hoodie. The video that accompanied the jacket on line made it easy to size correctly. Shipping and delivery was excellent. great experience dealing with Motorcycle Superstore.

Worth every penny for a cold weather jacket

I bought this jacket for use on the forty degree weather morning and have loved the jacket and not regretted the purchase at all. The jacket itself does a fantastic job to keep you warm while the zip in hoodie is installed and the size and fit is nice and snug and comfortable. I left he pads in the jacket because I like the extra armor and have never had a issue of them sliding around in the sleeves like some people sometimes complain about with riding jackets. I have also taken the hoodie out of the jacket and used it as just a warm hoodie to wear on its own as it is also a very comfortable hoodie in of it self. When the liner is removed and the jacket is warn of itself it still does a great job to keep you warm for temps around fifty degrees as long as you keep the zippers zipped up. I have another jacket for warmer weather and it has not been warm enough to test it at temps above sixty, however I highly recommend for a winter rider.

Perfect Present

Bought this jacket as a Christmas present for my son who knew what he wanted, just couldn't find it. This jacket is everything he wanted with lots of extras. Says it's a great jacket all around, but surprised himself by liking the back armor. Fits great, looks great, hope to never have to test the durability, great features and good cost. Absolutely would recommend.

Cool jacket

Fit and finish are great, half the reason I bought the jacket. Doesnt appear to be as high quality as I would have liked for the cost of the jacket but I haven't had any issues either. Lots of pockets and the zip out hoody is great to wear on it's own as well. Overall I recommend this jacket as a good balance between style and functionality.

A Good Jacket for the price.

Good gear is expensive ...having said that, I feel this purchase would've been Awesome at -$50 less than paid. However, it is built durable with hefty protection pads that will work to keep joints and back in tact! They do add some serious weight to the jacket though. Zippers work great. Pockets are placed well and it fits great. Medium worked for me at 170, 5-11". Absolutely recommended.

Great Jacket!

Fits perfectly. I haven't tried it in the heat of the Las Vegas summer, but it kept me warm in the cooler weather and with the zip-out hoodie it is very comfortable. I recommend it.

Amazing, Fit, and Comfortable

Can't say anything bad about the jacket. It's great, it's durable, fits perfect, is very stylish- the hoodie is a plus. Keeps you warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather with the air vents it has going through your arms out the back. Two thumbs up.

Very Nice Jacket

I'm always a little hesitant ordering jackets online since you don't get to see how they fit beforehand, but this jacket is a pretty true fit. The hoodie liner is awesome, zips out easily but stays in place when buttoned in too. Looks rad to boot. Very satisfied.

Comfortable Versatile Jacket

I've had this jacket for about three weeks now and I love it. Very light and comfortable. The fit is just right for me and since I like hoodies, the liner/hoodie is a huge plus. I haven't tried it in hot weather but it was very comfortable in cool to warm weather. I rode with it on a cold day and heated gear and that setup worked great as well. I see this as the jacket I wear in all but hot weather (I have a mesh jacket for those times). I am very happy with this product.

Great jacket!

This is a great jacket. It seems to run a little on the small side, so pay close attention to their sizing guide. I usually get a 2x in jackets, but I got a 3x in this jacket. It fits a little smaller than most 2x's do on me, which is still okay for me since 2x's are usually a little big on me.

Just right

I purchased this coat cause my girlfreind hates to see me ride with not much on. I have to agree that safety should be my main concert. I was entirely satisfied with fit and all around looks of this coat. It is hot enough to ride at the cool temps we have around here.
