Firstgear Torrent Waterproof Duffle Bag

I chose the small version, it fits perfectly across the rear seat on my '15 WeeXT. I've been looking for a waterproof yet accessible bag for touring. I've been using regular waterproof bags and hated fighting to get things out when I needed something during a day of riding. This bag is very easy to get into from the top at any time without unlashing from the seat. Stores my sleeping bag, inflatable pad and pillow plus sundry items I don't ever want to get wet. I love the d ring lashing points and found the bag easy to secure to the bike. A great buy!

Delivers on Promise

This bag had a 2 man 3-season tent, a sleeping bag, and clothes for 3 days all loaded up... the bag was at capacity and strapped down to my Honda 1000 CB (as in no luggage rack, just using the included straps on the passenger seat). I drove through Hurricane Joaquin as it was over Tennessee, and then another storm over Dallas, TX the next day. Everything was still dry. This bag is an outstanding value, I totally recommend it to anyone looking for a weatherproof duffel.

Great Bag - Worth the Money

Like the bag - it does what it's supposed to do and keeps your stuff dry. My only concern is that it seems to scuff up pretty easily. I don't know if that will mean leaks later or not, but so far it's great

Love this bag, BUT, it needs ONE THING

This bag has done over 10k miles with me, but the one thing the bag needs is a one way vent valve so you can compress all the air out of the bag. To make it truly waterproof, and make it store more, you need to be able to vent the air out, like a compression sack. Other than that, awesome bag.

Held Tough!

What a nice bag! Did it's job and kept the rain out for a 2400 mile trip from NYC to Charlotte, NC with rides to the Gap and surrounding areas. On and off extremely heavy downpours and the bad was 100% completely waterproof! The trap system is brainless and solid! I mounted the bag on my bike different ways just to see if I could! Very solid bag! Only problem/failure, the little zipper pocket is not 100% waterproof, but in the downpour I was in, I didn't expect anything to be dry but inside the bag, DRY! I would highly recommend this to ANYONE who want waterproofness! I have the backpack and I am getting the 25 liter bag to stack up on the 20!!!

Very satisfied with purchase

Large, well made, and waterproof. I ordered the 70L for my BMW 1200GS. With passenger seat removed, this large bag fits well on the bike. With bag and vario cases, I am set up for 10 days of camping.

GREAT BAG FOR THE MONEY

I purchased a 25L and liked it so much I went back and purchased the 40L. Well made and contents stay bone dry. I love everything about them- very happy with the product.

Great buy for the money

Well made, large bag with enough straps to adequately secure it to the top of a luggage rack on a K1200LT. Reasonably priced and does what it's supposed to.

Love This Bag

Bought this bag for a trip from Tennessee to Florida. The 40L bag is perfect in size. I used it to hold everything I would need at the motel during an overnight stop. Experienced no rain, but I'm convinced that everything would have remained dry. Rolls down easily and straps snap securely. Used a net, that I also bought here, to secure the bag to my tourpak. Highly recommend this bag!

mostly great

I got the 70 liter bag. It's awesome and I can pack lots of stuff. Only issue is it had a bit of a leak during a torrential downpour/traffic jam. Overall, it's pretty darn good for what I'll be using it for.

Firstgear Torrent Waterproof Duffle Bag

Very good bag for the money! Used it on a trip out west to Glacier National Park, through all types of weather, over 4,200 miles and it performed flawlessly. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bag that holds a lot and keeps everything dry.

Decent gear

The product is waterproof as advertised, product would be better if it had a stiffening board in the base of the bag.
