What Other Riders Are Saying...

The only tire I will ever buy again

All handling characteristics are better that all others, traction is as good as it gets and tread life is at least as good as any other. (I think that sums it up...)

Bought both front and rears

I put these on my 750 Virago and what a difference it made in the handling and the wet weather traction is like they claim. I ran into a torrential downpour this past summer and while most cars had either slowed way down or pulled off the side of the road, which I eventually did find an over pass to duck under, but while most tire would have hydro’ed this tire stuck

very good tire

Switched to Pirelli MT66 from Dunlop 555- HUGE IMPROVEMENT!!! The Dunlop was hard tire, following ALL road cracks and bumps. The Pirelli rides very smooth, can't notice the road cracks anymore, and feels very stable on sharp turns. Feel like I have a better bike now (or I ride better-WOW). Seriously- this tire is WAY..... Better than the stock Dunlop. Will be a happy Pirelli buyer in future! Highly recommend!!!

High mileage

I am having my second set put on today. I had over 9000 miles on the rear with plenty of tread left when someone slashed the tire. These tires really do what the other reviewers claim. Excellent!

Pirelli MT66

Having run Dunlops on an HD and 2 VT1100 Shadows over a span of 22 years and 250000 miles I can say without a doubt that the MT66 gives almost double the tread life over the Dunlop and as good if not better in the other categories. It is also less pricy.

Puma Grip and Stealthy Quiet

I have over 3,500 miles on these tires and the tread still looks like new. Wet and dry handling is great, ignores road humps and road tar snakes, cornering stability is way up. I did replace both front and rear tires on my virago and I will buy these tires again. Buy these tires, you won't be disappointed.

Pirelli MT66 on '02 Fatboy

This is my second MT66 rear on my Fatboy. I like the price and how the MT66 fits the look of my bike. Handling is great and they last forever. I will definitely stick with the Pirellis.

Nice tires

Just put a set of these on my Rebel and they are nice. Easy to put on yourself and balanced perfectly. Saved a lot of money and M Superstore had them to me in a couple of days. Great tires. Haven't had them on long enough for tread life and haven't road them in the rain yet. They look great on the bike also. Handle much better than the oem tires ever did , can't even feel grooves in the roads.

Excellent tread life and wet traction

I got sick of replacing Dunlop D404 rear tires on my VN900 every 8000 miles and decided to try the MT66. So glad I did. I have a fun 85 mile RT commute in the desert heat rain or shine and these tires are awesome, especially in the rain. We had lots of that this winter and wow, what a difference. So much that I actually don't hesitate to head out in it. Bottom line is that I got over 16000 miles on the one I'm soon to have replaced and it still not bald or even illegal yet!

Pirelli MT 66 Cruiser Rear Tire

I've only had the tire a short while and have put about 1000 miles on it. Handling is great, the tire is smooth and quiet. Can't say about wet traction as I've not ridden in the rain yet and haven't had it long enough to comment on tread life. When it comes time to replace the front tire I definitely will be ordering the matching Pirelli.

The best investment for a motorcycle!

I absolutely love the MT66. It does not pull you into seams in the pavement or uneven surfaces. Dry and wet traction is very good. A friend turned me on to the Pirelli MT66 and he has got great mileage out of them every time, so buy this tire if you like to ride.

Impressive!

Had the MT66 Route put on my '06 Honda VTX 1300C this spring and I've put over 1k miles on them. The most noticeable difference to me was the immediate improvement in ride quality over the stock tires. The ride is significantly more plush, but I don't feel like I've given up anything in the areas of stability, cornering, traction, or tread life. I have noticed no wear to the tread yet and the tire just flat out performs well. I have limited experience riding in wet conditions with these, but what I have seen so far is great. I would buy these again in a heartbeat!
