    Bought one, and then another....

I bought a front/rear set of the Pirelli MT66. After about 1,500 miles I noticed splits in the rear tire sidewall. I ordered another Pirelli MT66 so I would not have a mismatched pair and ended up leaving on my ride a week later. The Pirelli MT66 is turning out to be one of the most expensive tires I have ever bought for a motorcycle.

    Shocked at quick wear

I bought the Pirelli after using them for years on race and street cars. I drive a Honda VTX 1300C, and I don't drive it that hard. I do a lot of highway touring. I replaced the rear tire with the Route 66 and then a month later replaced the front tire with a Shinko 712. The Shinko looks like it has barely touched the ground the the Pirelli had to be replaced because it was nearly slick and went flat at speed. I know back tires take more wear, but this was shockingly quick. Needless to say I replaced the Pirelli with a Shinko.

    Great Tire-Great Price

I purchased tire before for my husbands Road King. He likes the way they hold the road in wet weather and they last just as long as some of the more expensive brands we have purchased in the past.

    Pirelli Tires MT66

I got 2000 miles out of the rear tire. The front tire has about 1000 more miles left on it. These tires are the biggest pieces of crap I have ever owned. I do not ride hard and I checked the air every time I rode. They would follow any little imperfection in the road and when crossing the stripe on the road the bike would wobble. As you can tell I HATE THESE TIRES!!!!!!! Will never buy another Pirelli tire!! I ride a 2007 Harley Road Glide.

    Pirelli v. Dunlop

I put brand new Dunlop 404's on my Honda Shadow 1100 a month after my daughter's bike got a new Pirelli M66 rear tire. Eight thousand miles later I need a new rear tire to pass a State inspection. My daughter's Pirelli looks like new with nearly the same miles. I have only had it about three weeks now, but immediately noticed that I was getting a smoother ride with total control on seams in the roadway. I can't wait until my front tire wears out.

    Great tire so far!

This tire is way better than the D404 I used to use. (V-Star 650) It always gives me a very smooth and responsive ride. Since I'm in Oregon I've been able to test it in the rain over the past few weeks, and it feels pretty grippy, but I always calm my riding style down a lot when I ride in the wet. I took one star off just because it feels like it squirms a little more than my old D404. I'd love to rate tread life but I've only had it on for about 200 miles.

So far appears to have great handling and stability. Traction seems much better than the previous tire that was on it when I bought the bike. Cornering feels much more stable and in control. Wet traction is good as well. Too early to tell about tread life.

    Perfect tire

Had one on both ends of my 1500 Nomad and they were by far the best tires I have ever had. Wear like iron, stick like glue and not overly noisy.

    Great tire for the money

My last rear tire lasted about 6,000 miles and I don't ride aggressively at all. So I'm disappointed with the tread life, but for the money it's an excellent tire overall.
