Well pleased with all aspects; not my first Shinko and probably won't be my last.

    Shinko 230 tourmaster

Put one on the rear of my Road King and got 5,000 miles out of it. I probably should have replaced it at 4,000 miles. I also put one on the rear of my Boulevard and got almost 6,000 miles out of that one. I wouldn't buy them again.

    shinko 230 rear

Recently rode 2,200 miles to a rally and back on a 1980 GS 1100L. The Shinko 230 gave very good grip and stability at all speeds. I measured the tread depth, a new tire, before I left and re-measured when I returned. Half of the rubber at the crown of the tire was worn away. To be fair, the last 600 miles was blasting on the freeway which is not conducive to tread life. I would recommend these tires at this time, wear withstanding.

    2nd Set

2007 VMAX- I ran the first set until they were boloney skins. The more they wore the better they performed. I spent over $1K on a set of radial tires and rims, they are coming off and these back on. Best value-performance for this bike on the market. They do not last long, but the price more than takes care of any perceived value loss.

    Shinko 230 Rear Tire

I've only put 500 miles on the Shinko rear tire so far but it is working well. Got caught in the rain once and was pleased with the wet traction. Tire was mounted with the paint mark opposite the valve stem and required no balance weights. Straight line high speed tracking is good. This tire gives excellent performance for the money. I will try a Shinko on the front when my Battlax wears out.

Tires both fitted back and front

Having used these tires on my Goldwing for two riding seasons in all weather conditions from dry/dusty to torrential rain downpours. I find these tires wanting for nothing. They perform very well on corners just rolling into the bends and pulling out equally as well, firmly and stable when you give the throttle a turn on up, and equally on long hauls I have done.

Tire is so far great to ride. Handles great on wet and loose gravel.

    I love these tires!

I have used several different brands of tires over the years and I have to say dollar for dollar these are excellent tires for your budget. When I ride alone I have a tendency to be really hard on tires, but these tires have great traction and cornering ability far exceeding the price you paid for value.

    Total Cost....

130/90/16 mounted on an 883 Sportster. Sticks like glue, but this tire started with 10/32nds and has lost 3/32nds in 1,500 miles???? Marketed as a "Touring Tire?" At the current rate of tread loss we're talking 5,000 miles!! The price of the tire is lower, but consider the cost of changing the Shinko's TWICE as much with the cost of balance and mounting compared to a Dunlop. Same performance but twice the miles!!!

    Great tire for the money

They don't have a not applicable category so I really don't have a rating for wet traction or tread life. I haven't ridden in the rain and only have a couple of hundred miles on them. So far they are great. Really smooth on the straights and sticky on the curves. I like them better than the Dunlops that came on the bike.

    Great price and great tire

Tire performs well, just have a few hundred miles on it so don't know about tread life yet. Sticks well to pavement, though didn't test it a lot on wet pavement. Tire arrived super fast and service was great as usual.

    Satisfied

After putting Shinko Tour Master tires on both the front and rear of my 2002 Shadow ACE, I am amazed at how much quicker the response is when taking a curve. I have not had any problem in either wet or dry conditions and even had it on pea gravel. I am completely satisfied with the performance of the tires, and the price makes them all the better!

    shinko tourmaster tires

I just ordered my 3rd set for my 2003 Electra Glide. Was running Dunlop 402's. Dunlops were scary on wet roads. The Shinko's are less than half the price with longer life and much better traction. Wish someone would make radials for the older Harleys. But for now these are the best value.

    Great tire for the price.

Bought this tire for my dads bike before Sturgis as he needed a rear tire. He had nothing but good things to say about it. Cant say too much about the tread life but it stood up to our 2000 mile trip without any issues.
