best value for money

Put (2) Shinko 230's on my 82 Suzuki GS750TZ. Cost under $140 for both. Very sticky, confidence inspiring. Bike now really tracks well, hold the line and leans nicely in the twisties. I expect 5000 miles from them, but thats ok. I prefer tires to be changed with sticky rubber rather than pay more for harder rubber that lasts a little longer. If I pay another $140 in the next few years vs paying $300 for a higher mileage tire, I'm okay with that. Don't hesitate if your a vintage UJM owner. These are terrific value for dollar.

The best tire I've ever bought

The price is deceiving. I ride a large cruiser (850+). Yet I'm an aggressive rider due to my past riding experiences. Examples are TT. Speedway, and many other competitive riding sports. I've have used an array of different tires. I have become extremely comfortable riding on these tires. They really stick in the corners, and wear evenly unlike other brands that have mixed tread compounds. This is my sixth set and will continue to purchase Shinkos.

Shinko. The best kept secret in motorcycle tires!

I've been running Shinko tires on both my 2002 RoadStar, and 1985 VMax for years now. Great price, and they wear well, too. Still happens allm the time though. I mention to another motorcyclist that I am using Shinko tires, and I almost always get "What tires?".. Once they get a look at them, and I tell them about price and quality, a lot of them switch over to Shinko. None of them ever regretted the choice, either. Good tires, Good price, Great service from Superstore!

My brand from now on !!

I needed new tires but was low on cash. I shopped around and found these. I was skeptical at first due to the low price, but after reading all the positive reviews, I decided to take a chance. I couldn't be happier with my choice. They got great traction from day 1. With other tires, I've always had to baby them for a hundred miles or so. Previously I have had Dunlop, Michelin, and Kenda. None of these tires can compare to the Shinko Tourmaster. I'm on my third season whith these tires and they only look about half worn. That's about 7 or 8 k miles. The only time I have any concern is in the rain when pulling away from a stop, the rear tire wants to break loose. That may just be due to the Harley's low end torque though. The cornering is awesome. The bike feels very stable when leaning enough to drag the foot pegs. There is no shimmy, shake or wobble at any speed. I have had this bike to at least 130 mph with these tires (these ones are v rated). I am so pleased with these tires that I recommended Shinko tires to my Son. He bought a set for his Triumph, and the last I heard, he was just as happy with his purchase as I am.

Great Tire Great Price

Looks great on my honda gl 1200. Haven't put many miles on it yet, so still out on mileage. Rained the day after I put it on, handled great wet. It is a new tire so I didn't hammer on it too hard, still it felt good in the corners. Also have had a chance to ride it dry, quiet, and a nice feel. Shipping was in 3 days, very happy about that. Only took .25 oz to balance. This is my first Shinko 230 Tour Master. But if it continues to preform the way that it is, I am sure it won't be my last.

I don't know what this means

I like the price and the Shinko 230 Tour Master rear and front tires real well but they need much more tread depth so they will last much longer, even if the price is a little more. It cost so much to have a tire mounted and balanced anymore. It is such a waste to make the side wall and put such a small amount of tread on a tire. Price gouging. Most motorcycle tires need much more tread, at least 12/32nd minimum. A little more would even be better. everything else about the tire I like. George Warner Flinsbaugh

Good tire for the money

This is my second set of Shinko tires. Had metzlers before these and they were almost twice the price. I average about 10k per set on these tires which was the same I got with Dunlop and metzlers. Why pay more! Ride was much better than the dulops.

Shinko 230 Tour Master

Had it mounted for almost a month without any issues. For me it is better than the OEM Bridgestone. Great price and very good tire.

Great Deal!

This is the second set of Shinko 230's I purchased from Motorcycle Superstore for my ‘85 GoldWing, getting over 7,000 miles on the first set. The smooth ride and handling (even in wet weather) are all very good. The cornering ability of these tires is so confidence-inspiring, I frequently scrape my running boards while on highway ramps! Being pleased with the performance and the low price (and fast, free shipping!), I purchased a new set. I mounted and balanced the tires myself, and they required minimal weights. Even at high speeds there is no vibration. You definitely get your money’s worth out of these.

Good tires so far

I feel these tires will last a long time they ride smooth and give good traction when cornering. This is my first set of shinko tires but compared to the metzler me 880 i had previously, they are stacking up.
