Not Bad

So far it's been a good quality tire. Was excited by the way it looked when it was put on. Its been about a month so don't know how long the tread will last, I'm currently a daily rider and it's going steadily but not slow. But like I said I'm a daily rider so it's quicker for me. Especially riding a supersport.

4000 miles on a tiger

The 095 was a but better then the conti motions I usually buy and much better then the stealth I will never again buy. The tiger 1050 is a notorious tire destroyer and I woukd say the 005 held up pretty good despite that. I ride pretty hard and usually with a pillion so the tire gets loaded pretty hard. Combine that with my usual routes being twisty and poorly paved and it makes for a tough row to hoe for any tire.

Shinko 005 Advance

I previously had the softer Stealth Shinko, which rode really nice but tread life was understandably short so I ordered the Shinko Advance to fit my riding habits and so far I am very satisfied. I never experienced wet traction as of yet, but cornering and stability performances are excellent.

Rear OK, Front not so much.

I purchased both the front and rear tires. After installation and about 100 miles in, I started to get vibrations up front. My first thought was that I may have thrown a wheel weight. I took it back into the shop and asked for a re-balance. Turned out the tire had a bump in the tread. He rebalanced as best as he could, but the vibration will be there until I replace the tire, which unfortunately will be before the end of this riding season. Will not buy again.

I rode to Spokane it was nice when I left but I came back in rain and slush. These dont hydroplane and you dont have to warm them up to ride. I love them better then the 2cts I usually get.

So far so good

I just put one of these on the back of my SV650, rode about 1200 miles so far highway, corners, rain. It never flinched when hitting the corners. It definitely boosted my confidence from the last set of Metzlers I had. I think the shinko is a near perfect tire for price on my SV.

I trust them

I had a brand new Shinko 005 on my 1993 Cbr 1000f. The rear only, and my bike has a little weight on it (500 lbs) but I trust it on a far lean. I have had my bike all the way over and they held like a dream. I got about 3000 miles, but that's because I like to have fun. Bought another from Motosport recently. I cannot spin this tire when taking off, and as for wet riding, use common sense haha, but it will hold to the ground.

Not bad so far

Still fairly fresh on the tires, I use balance beads but have some vibrations at high speeds. Otherwise, tires are ok.

Great tire for price

I put this tire on an 06 Busa. I have ridden in the mtns, curvy roads, interstate, and these tires have been great. Awesome at repelling 2 inches of rain at 60mph. They stick to the road as well as the Michelin pilot that I replaced. I should get at least 5k miles. I love to ride fast.

I purchased 005 for my CBR and I can’t say enough good things about it, I put 500 miles a week on my bike, and I got around 10k out of them, I tried all other brands and these tires for the money are great, just purchased 011 and we will see how well they hold up

Nothing but grand things to say about the 005....third set and will continue to buy. I've placed 13k on my bike since May 2012 and the mileage for the price is perfect.

Nice tires, nice price, fast shipping!!

I was hesitant to order this tire because of some of the reviews. But then again, they might be racers or people who love to knee drag. Me, I am a speed limit cruiser on a CBR1000RR. I think they are great tires at a nice price. I only gave a 1 for tread life, because I cannot evaluate that yet. We've had dry and wet weather, so I was able to review them once I scrubbed them in. The shipping was unbelievably fast. Going to order the Shinko Advanced 005 front tire next week. "Thumbs up"
