    THE GOLDWING TRIKE TIRE

This tire replaced the OEM Tire on my GL1800 Trike. The OEM was worn out at 8,000. I already have 10,000 on the Pilot. Great value, great tire.

This tire does very well on the front of my 2003 GL1800 Trike. The first one lasted 17,000 miles. Had to install a Dunlop in Sturgis because they were out of the Michelin and it only lasted 9,000 miles. So needless to say it is Michelin Pilot Activ on the trike. I have traveled over 2 million miles in a car as a sales rep and it has always been Michelin under me. I think I might have used my spare twice in 45 years of travel, pretty good record for my tires.

    Michelin Pilot Activ Rear Tire

I've only driven about 300 miles. I was a bit gun shy to corner sharp after the leak in my previous back tire, however this past weekend I was back to my old self enjoying the turns. The tire holds the road really well. Have only been on dry pavement so far. I'm hoping for a long life out of this tire. It is installed on the back of a KZ550 Kawasaki.

I have this tire on the rear of my Kawasaki KLR 650. I rarely go off road and this tire handles very well on the pavement. I haven't had a chance to try it out on wet pavement yet. I'm hoping to get around 10,000 miles out of this tire.

I replaced the Avon rear tire with the Michelin, the Avon was noisey in the turns. The Michelin rear tire runs quiet and is a good match for my 1978 GL 1000 Gold Wing.

    New trike tire

Installed this tire on the front of my trike. So far it has been great. Don't have but about 200 miles so far. Very stable, great on cornering, and good dry traction. Have not had it in any rain yet. Tread life to be determined. So far a great tire for my 1995 Goldwing trike.

    Best bias ply tire

Have been riding since 1968. Nearly 800,000 on various motorcycles. I'm now on my third set of Michelin Pilot Activs. They're the best bis ply tires I've ever used. Their great roadholding is equalled by long wear. Tar snakes and other road irregularities are no big deal with these tires. And yes, these tires are good when the pavement is wet. The price has increased about 10% since I bought my first 6 years ago. But hell, everything has.

    Great tires.

Mounted front and rear on my Triumph Bonneville. Feels like a new bike. Don't know about tread life or wet traction.

    R100RT Rear Tire Works Well

The tire works well, is the correct size (so my odometer is correct), and is an excellent value. I would like a little better mileage. It only gets about 7K miles, but that's really good mileage with today's tires especially considering how good the tire is overall.

    Great Tire!

I've got a 750 interceptor and this tire has been really good for wear and grips in the corners too. I would buy it again!

    Pilot Activ Rear and Front

Had Avon Roadriders before - decent tires, and got 6k out of the rear tire. Replaced the rear with a Pilot Activ and got 10k miles out of it. So I just put Pilot Activs on front and back. Noticeably good grip in the rain and they make grooved pavement on the highway feel like it's smooth pavement. Definitely recommend this if you're looking for a long-lasting tire. My bike is a 1996 Honda Nighthawk 750.

    Great for Trike

I have used this tire before and they are great for a trike. They are a tougher tire to try to change yourself, but last a whole lot longer.

    Higher quality at low price.

Results on a SUZUKI GS500E: Stability: 10/10. Cornering Stability (several grades LEFT OR RIGHT): 10/10. Stability in the rain: 10/10. Braking: 10/10. Strong Braking: 10/10. Braking in the rain: 10/10. Strength : 10/10. You feel like the rubber is attached to the street for braking, acceleration or rotation, this is really a top quality tire...Now I go for the front tire, yup!!

I have been pleasantly surprised at how well this tire made my trike handle. I have also read a lot of reviews on it and I can only say positive things about it.

    Best tire for BMW Airheads

I have been a Metzler fan for many years, however the last several tires I purchased were disappointing on several levels, mostly durability (under 4,000 miles on a back tire). I am on my second set of Pilot Activ tires on the old R100. 10,000+ on the front 7500 on the back. They balance well and ride better than the Metzler tires.
