2013 Honda CB 500 F

Great all around tire, much better handling than the OEM Dunlops, but slightly shorter life. Well worth the trade off, particularly when considering the lower cost. Now on my second set of Metzler M3 and will buy them again.

Metzeler for life!

I've tried them all, this tire grips all the way down! I've only got caught in the rain once. It worked fine as I don't push my luck on wet roads. I don't think anyone can say they lean any bike too far in the wet. As for longevity, not great! 2500 miles and I'll be replacing the rear with another M3. Because I need to know my tires will hold when I'm hanging all the way out!

Damn good.

Great road feel, tons of grip, nice soft rubber that gets the sandpaper/marbled look after a good thrashing. Started showing cords after about 4800 miles, which is pretty good for a non-touring tire. 2009 XR1200.

Great rear tire

I love this rear tire. It compares way better than to my old tire that I was riding on. It grips way better and is planted to the ground through turns. Loved the rear tire so much that I purchased the front tire too.

Fantastic Tire

I will only ride Mezteler sportecs. They are simply fantastic tires. The M3 ihas been phased out, will move to M5s for my next set.

good tire

I see everyone saying the tire lasted 5,000 - 8,000 miles?????? I just hit the 2,400 mark and I need a new rear since the rubber is pealing from center. I do ride a 1000rr and am aggressive in the mountains but just over 2 grand for a tire is not great... will be going back to the Q3 just a better ride and lasts about 1,000 more miles, but the M3 is a good tire.

Love these tires but

Don't expect to get much wear from these great tires even if you drive like an old man like myself. At 5,000 miles the metal belt was showing in the tire center. A lot of confidence on these tires up until failure at 5,000.

m3 rear

Excellent tire, bought a rear and it was hard to turn in for first 20 miles then after that, it tipped in like butter. Paired with a Michelin. Power 1 2ct front and it is an excellent combo for aggressive riding on a Cbr600rr.

OEM Cuz its Great

This was the OEM tire on my BMW K1300s. After reading all the reviews and not finding another that could match it I kept the factory spec tire that had given me 10k miles. Love the stickiness in all weather this tire gives. Looking forward to another 10k on this one.

Great sport tire

Had this tire a month now and already put 1k miles on it. My zx6r is my daily commuter with weekend twisties. I've been in rain so heavy that I could barely see the car in front of me, yet the tire does a decent job gripping with confidence and predictably. Tire looks kinda new with NO flat spot yet, approx 900 miles straight line. Maybe my imagination but this tire gives me more confidence then my Michelin 2ct and seems to dip in the corners better.

Awesome Street Tire

This tire ROCKS for dry aggressive mountain-pass riding (don't ride in wet weather or commute). Warms quickly and sticks edge-to-edge. Breaks gently and recovers without drama. Very predictable and controllable. Wear is even, no cupping. Rears last 4,000 to 6,000 miles (depending on my throttle hand), front twice that distance. Have never needed more than 4 grams to balance. Will continue to abuse Newton's laws with these for years to come!

Great Summertime!

The tire was so much more aggressive than my last time, the stance feels great and it's very responsive in the corners. I have not used it in the rain yet nor have I had it long enough to rate it for Tread Life, so I put a standardized rating of 3 for both those categories. So far, a 5 star tire!

Love the M3

I have ridden this tire since it came out, tried the M5 came back to the M3. I don't ride in the wet if I can help it so I really don't have an opinion on wet traction. The M3 is a great tire, it breaks softly and hooks up the same. I ride a Buell 1125CR (lots of torque) I burn thru rears in about 2500 miles, if I stay off the brakes the fronts last about 5000 miles. As long as they make them this is the tire I will ride.
