Great tire for a great price!

This is my 5th one! A set on my Aprilia Mana that performed flawlessly in week long tour of California, then a set on my Aprilia Caponord which transformed it into a sweet handling MC. Then a rear on the Caponord after I suffered a puncture. Yes they are made in China, but hey, there are a German brand that has been owned by (Italian) Pirelli since 1986. It's a global village. They perform great, and due to them being a couple generations back and not made in Germany (or Italy!) are quite affordable.

Longer lasting

I love these tires, but and was a little pissed when I saw China stamped on the sidewall. I'd asked before ordering and was told Germany. But, I've gotten better thread life from them than the German made. They perform flawlessly. My old Vmax has been transformed into a great handling and stable bike. I've had no reason to switch to other brands. I use C spec for the FJR. The price is always good too.

Didn't know they were made in China

Would not have purchased this set of Metzelers had I known they were made in China.

So far so good.

Very aggressive looking. Performs as good as the Pilot Power 2 that I had before them. Price was very good.

Great for everything but mileage

This is a class act tire if you could get 10,000 miles out of it but I only got 5,000. Not quite what I had in mind.

Roadtec Z6

Just ordered my 3rd set of these for my '98 VFR800. I don't get the mileage that some report, but 6k on a rear and close to 10k on the front is good enough. I'll keep ordering them as long as Motorcycle-Superstore keeps them in stock and at a GREAT price.

Incredibly Tough Tire

Bought them, mounted and hopped on the r1100r for a 3K+ mile ride. The Z6's held up amazingly in all conditions I ran into: 800mile/day highway riding, heavy rain/wet conditions, curvy roads which included the Tail of the Dragon out in NC and even gravel roads which made me question the integrity of my entire bike. Not to mention the price beat all other stores I called. You wont go wrong with these tires, they'll stand up strong to anything you throw at them.

Very soft

I'm not a fan of super soft tires. This one is even soft to the touch. It handles well but I'm at about 3500 miles and I'm already at the wear bars. I would not buy again.

Metzler Z6

Pull a camper behind my R1150 RT and last rear tire got 9000+ miles on it. Should have changed @ 1000 miles earlier but was still just ok. Have used them on my previous R 1110 RS which I also pulled my trailer & got great mileage. Only tires I buy. Great prices.

Excellent

I have had the Z6 rear on my CTX700 for 7,000 miles and it should easily go 11,000. The traction and life is much better than the Z8 that came on the bike. Will probably replace it with another Z6 barring no bad events between now and later.

... so far so good. I got the 180 instead of the 190 for my 2007 zx10r. it turns pretty fast and the traction is pretty solid.

MEZ6

It's all relative. Just burned up a MEZ6 rear in 2,500 miles, temps in the mid 90's, abrasive AR chip and seal, other good riders who provided plenty of incentive to enjoy every corner. The same tire running 75 mph on the freeway will run between 6 and 8,000 miles bike loaded with no passenger. The bike is an FJR 1300, have close to 100,000 miles on this model and found the MEZ6 to be the best.

Best I've Ever Had

These tires are the best design I've ever used. I recall the Dunlops I had on a Kawasaki 750 H2 that I used to slide- on pavement, like it was a dirt track turn. No thanks, no need for more of that type of riding- ever. Metzeler has produced, with the Z6, a superior design and a superior product. The tire doesn't lose traction at all easily, and handles drawbridge metal gratings without equal.
