Must be what the doctor ordered

My '03 Indian Spirit Deluxe came with Maxxis tires and as most Indian riders know, Maxxis is not making tires for our bikes anymore. Emailed Indian motorcycle company to find out what tire the new bikes 2009 thru 2010 have, and the answer is "Metzeler". So if they are good enough for the New Indian bikes, they must be an excellent tire. So that’s that.

One awesome set of tires, forget Dunflops...!!!!

The previous reviewers were right and I'm glad I listened. These ME880s have superb grip and traction on cornering and stopping, plus you get the quick agility and nimbleness not found on other tires. Replaced OEM Dunlops on my FLSTN and I feel I have a new ride, completely different feeling from before. I ride much more secure, thanks to the very quick response on leaning, especially out of quick turns. Stopping feels like a brand new bike altogether. Let’s see how they hold up as far as mileage. My OEM Dunlops gave up after 11K on the rear and the front might have gotten another 5K. But I'm glad I switched. I'm convinced and will be replacing my future ones with the same.... Thanks Motorcycle Superstore for the quick shipping and great communication between order and delivery.

sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This tire gives the Avon a run for its money and costs less. A low pro look and the white wall makes the 21 inch front tire look even bigger and gangster.

Metzeler ME 880

I heard from a couple of my friends how different the ride is from the factory tires I originally had. They told me how much smoother the ride would be. That was a complete UNDERSTATEMENT. The ME 880 Wide Whites are absolutely great! I have them on a silver Suzuki Boulevard and not only is the ride incredibly smooth, the bike has a totally killer persona now. I've turned more heads with her with the whites than without. My only complaint is that this front has swirls in the white wall that is noticeable when you are up close. But the ride makes up for it!

Great Tires and Great Looking too!

Own 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT. Bike came stocked with Dunlops front and rear. I replaced both tires with the WWW mainly for the looks. WOW! Not only did it give the bike the WOW look I was expecting from the WWW, but the ride has improved also. Noticeable less vibration on the highway. Highly recommend these tires to anyone.

Good looking tire

Looks great! Soft ride, but have not had a chance to ride in the rain so far. I have a thousand miles on tires and see no signs of wear.

Metzeler-ME 880 WWW front tire

Previous tire was a Dunlop Cruisemax. It cupped out @ 2200 mi. Also, it seemed to really be effected by street snakes (tar strips). So far (approx 1200 mi) all's good w/ the metz!!

Metzler tires

OMG I’ve got 2000 miles on these tires already and I know I will NEVER buy another brand of tire. I was always a diehard DUNLOP man but since I put these ME880 on my bike I’ll never buy another brand of tire......

Best Rain Tire Ever

I have purchased many items from Motorcycle-Superstore and have had great success with our association, this is where I come when my local store is out of stock and when it's possible to save alot of money and time (which seems to be more and more every time I turn around). I stepped up and purchased both front and rear Metzler 880 WWW because Dunlop doesn't make a wide white wall tire in 150/80H B16. I am so impressed, and very confident with these tires in the rain, they are the best feeling tires I have ever ridden on, I know it doesn't say Harley-Davidson on them but they keep me upright, confident, and safe in inclimate weather, once again thank you Motorcycle-Superstore, keep up the great work.

WW Tires

I have had these tires on for a few tanks of gas, (300 to 500 miles) and I am really pleased with the performance. Motorcycle Superstore had a sale on Metzelers and I was looking for them. I spent just over 300 and installed myself. I have a small shop and experience. If you do not have experience, have them installed professionally. So far they are all they are cracked up to be, but longevity remains to be seen. Looks like they will last....after all they are called "Marathons". I have seen a big difference in performance over the Bridgestones. In defense of them I will say they were down to the warning bars and in need of replacement. But, the Metzelers feel sooo good.
