Metzeler 880 front tire

Have only put about 100 miles on the tire since installation. If I get the mileage out of this tire That I got out of the only other Metzeler (rear tire), I'll be happy. It does seem to want to track in small grooves in the highway........could be wrong, more mileage will tell the tale. I am happy with the product and the service.

ME 880 Touring Tire Front

I have used the ME 880 front & rear on my Yamaha Venture Royal Star 1300 touring bike. They have handled heavy loads & long trips. Very stable, with heavy loads good grip in the mountains of Colorado, Utah, & New Mexico.

ME 880 - Great Tires

I replaced both front and rear Dunlop 491's on my Honda Gold Wing 1500 with the ME 880. I noticed the difference immediately. The ME 880 really grabs and holds the road. What a difference in cornering as well. I highly recommend this tire, especially for those with a Honda Gold Wing. A real improvement over the Dunlops.

ME 880 High Milage Touring Front Tire

This tire really "sticks" in the corners. I was amazed at the difference, I have an 880 on the rear of my 750 Shadow Spirit and the combination seems to be a good fit for my riding. I ride about 10k a year and hope for better mileage than my previous tires, thanks for a good product and timely delivery.

Me 880 front tire

I only have a couple hundred miles on since install, but the difference is tremendous over the Dunlop. Very little road noise, much better feel of traction in corners. I'm a Meltzer guy from now on. It does follow the 'rain grooves' a little more than the Dunlop did, however.

Metzeler 880 front tire

I installed the ME880 front about 800 miles ago, replacing the Stock Bridgestone Excedra on my 2005 VStar Custom 1100. I noticed a difference right away! The bike is a lot more neutral in the corners and the new rubber has eliminated an annoying "shimmy" I was getting at 45mph with the old skin.

I only use Metzeler Tires. They're the best tires out there...not only do they perform and look better than any other tire out there, they also last the longest. Excellent product and highly recommended.

Pros: This is the best tire I have found for my Harley Heritage Softail. No more road walking from grooved pavement, handles the curves like a dream. I WILL NEVER CHANGE to another tire! Cons: It grips better and is probably a softer tire. Therefore replacement may come a bit sooner, but every bit worth it! A+++

ME-880 Front Tire

I bought this to replace an ME-880 with over 12K miles on it. I am running a 21" 80/90 ME-880 with a custom cast alloy rim on a 2000 Harley FXSTS (Springer Softail). It is a great tire for what I do, mostly drive long distances in a straight line at supra legal speeds. It has good stopping power for such a skinny tire and doesn't break traction when I lean on the Performance Machine 4-piston front and rear calipers even at a gross weight of nearly 1000 pounds with me onboard. The rear is a

ME880 Front tire

On my 2005 Suzuki Blvd M50 the stock IRC's felt like I was riding on ice, especially on the highway grooves. Tight turns were a new adventure everytime. Once changing to the ME880 Touring on the front and ME880 High mileage on the back, no more slippery feeling on the grooves or tight turns. I'm riding on rails so to speak, that uneasy feeling is gone. They’re GREAT!!!

Replaced stock Dunlops on a 2000 Wideglide. Handling improvement immediately noticeable. Much surer while cornering and does not pull in road grooves as before. Great tires... Highly recommended.

Replaced the original equipment Dunlops on my FLSTFI with ME880's front and rear. Much better ride and the Metzlers do not follow the surface cracks and grooves in the road. Profile allows better lean angle.

Difference of night and day over the stock Dunlop on a 05 Honda VTX1300. They don't follow the small grooves in the road, cornering feels natural. Only problem I have is now I have to worry about scraping my pipes (right side) in the corners now. I give it a 10.

Best tires I've ever ridden on. Handle great and they last! I've gone through three sets on my 1986 FXRD with an average of 15,570 on the fronts and 12,360 on the rears. Match that Dunlop!!!
