3rd Front.

Run the dark side, but have always ran the Metz 880 on the front. Awesome tire for a VTX1800.

880 Metezeler tire

So far I am in love with the new Metezeler's on my softail. Nice smooth ride and better handling then the old factory Dunlop's. Motorcycle Superstore's super fast delivery got me back on the road sooner than expected.

Made just for my Bike!

There are few options for the weight of a BMW K1200 LT... this is the second Metzler I've installed on this bike... Feel is good... balances easily... a front will last longer than rear... Just put 500 miles on this new tire in a day... it didn't disappoint.... I always wonder why I didn't change it earlier! new rubber is BETTER!

BMW owner

I have had Metzelers since 1985 and nothing else, used them for 300,000 miles at least. They handle great, never had a problem in rain and I trust my life with them. I get good wear, but I also use them to the wear marks are gone or more. If they go down in air press. is a nail or something in them. I use to ride the curves pretty hard for a old guy, but have given that up.

Only tire I ride

I replaced my original Dunlops with the 880's and got twice the mileage and better performance on my Honda ST1300. Bought my last 5 rears and 3 fronts from Motorcycle Superstore. No reason to go anywhere else.

Top mileage tire

I run a ME880 front tire on my softail. I have over 26.5k miles on it in just over 2 years. GREAT FRONT TIRE.

New Tires 2004 Honda Shadow

I purchased this tire since I had another bike with Metzeler tires and liked them a lot. The new rear tire is an 888. Felt like a new bike with improved handling and stability. I have no idea how long they will last so tread life is a ? for now.

Very Impressive...

I ride a 2000 Vulcan Nomad 1500. I've used Dunlop and Pirelli in the past. Wow! What a difference in handling! It loves corners, literally rides like a different bike. I would highly recommend. I will not buy any other tire in the future.

Handle great - wish they lasted longer

I run Metzeler ME880 110/90HB-19 front and ME880 200/70B-15 rear. I have had 8 rear tires and 5 front tires in 70K miles. Get about 8K on the rear and 12-13K on the front. I ride state roads, not much interstate. Even with the short tread life I continue to buy them because they handle so well.

880 metzeler

Replaced my Dunlops with 880 Metz- have a '95 Ultra. Better ride and handling. Back tires are smaller '95 to 2003. I went to a 140/90-16 on the rear and everything is much better! This is as wide a tire I could install without major changes. Very pleased- more rubber on the road. Better stopping performance, and less drag on cornering.

Tire review

Got caught in one of those big rain storms last week in Oklahoma (Middle of May 2015). Tire held the road perfectly. Never a slip.
