Great boots, too new to comment on durability

These boots fit very well. Protection and water resistance seem top notch, though I haven't used them hard or ridden them in a downpour yet. Features are high quality. They started out very stiff and made shifting a little tricky, but I'm hoping as they break in they will move a little better. Can't speak to durability but I have a feeling they'll last fine.

WEARING MY BOOTS

I like the way they are built and the look. The only thing I don’t like is they are a half size too big.

Great Boots

Excellent boots. Well made and elegant. The reflection in the back of the boots has a tear. Otherwise, they are truly great boots

Gaerne G-Class Waterproof Boots

Just got back from a six day ride and I'm very pleased with these boots. They're a good looking boot and they are extremely comfortable. First, a couple of minor negatives; you have to wear over-the-calf socks. If you look closely at the top of the boot, there is a leather covered elastic ring. It will rub against your leg and cause irritation. Over-the-calf socks solve the problem. Secondly, order one size larger. All of my boots are size nine but I had to send the first pair back and order a size ten. Motorcycle Superstore could not have been easier to work with. On the plus side, they are comfortable, whether riding or walking and they look good. I got caught in one rain shower and the boots kept me dry. I would highly recomment them.

Gaerne G-Class Boots

The Gaerne G-Class boots are very well made. They provide protection with good looks and you don't have to take them off after your ride is over, keep them on for walking. They are comfortable and true to size. My only complaint is that I wear size 10.5 and these Gaerne G-Class boots are made only full sizes, thus I had to order a size 11, which is about a half size bigger.

Gaerne G-Class Boots

Boots happen to fit my feet extremely well, much better than I had expected. Size is spot on and they are a warm boot for winter riding in a cold climate. The style is a bit dainty, but if you get past that I think anyone except those with wide feet would find this a very good boot.

Seemed well made, but...

I returned these within 1 day of trying them on (Motorcycle Superstore was great about that, btw). They are fairly narrow, which gives them a slightly girlish look. However, they're tall on the top part of the foot, which made it very difficult to fit my foot under the gear shift on a sport bike. And the clincher why these had to be returned is that there was no flexibility in the ankle to shift gears (more a problem up-shifting). I know they will loosen up with wear, but I honestly didn't think it would be sufficient for me to be safe. Well constructed, though. Comfortable. Perhaps the stiffness wouldn't be a problem on a cruiser.

Stylish and tall

After recommending these to a friend I got a pair. Their look is what I was hoping for though they are a little stiff. I have floorboards and it is difficult to get my foot flat. Maybe after they break in they'll soften. I wear a size 12 and unfortunately as the boot size increases the whole boots size expands, making the shaft wide. My friends fit well on the leg, where mine are rather large making it difficult to wear on the inside of pants.

Warm and Waterproof

A little loose for my narrow heels, and the lack of a stiff shift pad and high profile make upshifts a little tricky. Great for scooter riding, however. Very waterproof and warm - too warm to wear inside. Grippy soles great for holding the bike or scooter up on wet and oily streets. Not sure how well the hook and loop closure will hold up.
