    Dunlop 616 is the best!

Recently bought a 2001 GSXR1000 with Dunlop 616's installed. Without doubt the best tire I've ever used. Ride is smooth and quiet, overall handling is very neutral and controlled. Cornering is telepathic. No way to know how well they are wearing, however.

These tires are everything you need! The reason I bought these was for good traction dry or wet, and wet traction is awesome - definitely a descendent of rain race tires. About 300 miles in a downpour is how I tested wet traction, and even at speeds not a single white knuckle moment. Dry handling is great as well, and they even lasted me about 10K miles - very happy about this. If you don't need a strictly race tire, buy these.

D616's, street knobbies..., as most people refer to when they see them.

Awesome all around, any season sport-touring-adventure tires! I've run several D616 sets on my 02 ZZR1200 that currently has 118,000 miles on it, had it since new. Getting 5-7000 miles per set, riding thru 3 sets per year. Awesome grip and traction in any conditions, unbelievable in the rain. Very stable at any speed. Very nice feel & comfortable ride as well. I highly recommend the D616's, and the great price here at MSS. AWESOME TIRES!! RM...CO2W

D616. An all around performance commuter tire?

I bought these tires a year ago. I needed something to take me through the rain on my commute and also to the twisties during the weekend. These were going to be fitted onto my KTM SuperDuke. These are excellent dry tires! And amazing rain tires! Compound is too soft for serious mileage. They hold up well to massive torque! Stick all the way to the edges. Currently have about 3K. Will need to change them soon.

Solid. Good on wet and dry. Switched over from Pirelli Scorpion Sync. So far, it seems Pirelli's will last longer. Pirelli's warm up a little faster and are a bit stickier. D616 better on fireroads. Less performance than sport or sport/touring tire but it's worth it to know I can handle a fire road when riding w/gs pals. Looks rad. Will likely buy another set.

    best tire ever

I run an r6s and I have 12,000 miles on this tire and it's still going. Just getting down to the warning bars. The front tire still looks brand new. Going to purchase a new one this week to finally replace the rear. I recommend this tire to anyone who likes quality for a great price. Keep in mind I ride my bike back and forth to work and never spin the tires or pull wheelies.

I run this tire on an 07' Buell Ulysses and I like it a lot. I live in the heart of the mountains in Colorado and these are great tires for very spirited riding on very twisty roads. Most of my riding is done fully loaded and 2up and these tires are very stable, stick great in the corners, do really well in the rain, and offer great traction on graded dirt roads. However, they don't last long. I average about 4,000 miles in back and twice that up front.

This tire will follow the lines in the road and at 70 and 80 miles per hour it is very unstable. I have it on a BMW R1200RT with 2500 miles on it and I will replace it this week.
