Bridgestone tire

This is the second set of Bridgestone tires I have bought for my bike. They handle great and the white letters look terrific. The tread life is average, but the handling makes up for it. I have no ties to Bridgestone, But I only purchase Bridgestone for my cars also. Again the grip makes up for the average tread life.

A Solid Tire Design

I have been restoring a 1980 model motorcycle and previously used these when on a motorcycle in the 80's when they were first released. They made a big difference in overall handling on my bike back then and I was pleased to find they still manufactured them. They have vastly improved the handling and rideability of my 80's model motorcycles over the typical Dunlop tires found on them. I have 2 other restoration projects in the works and you can be sure, I will be replacing the old tires on these bikes with the very same Bridgestone S11's

Good Tires

I have only put about 500 miles on these tires. They seem good so far with plenty of traction for my Maxim 650. They also track nicely when traveling at highway speeds. They look great on the old 80's bike too. I would recommend this product.

Horrible tire

I have bought Bridgestone tires for every vehicle I have owned, from my motorhome to my motorcycle. Many years ago, I used this tire on the rear of my Goldwing and was very pleased with it. Ran about 18K miles. I recently bought this same tire for my PC800. I do not know what Bridgestone did to this tire from the one I bought several years ago, but this is the worst tire I have ever paid money for. I'm now at around 7K miles and the tire is nearly worn out. It has horrible traction, especially in the rain. Even the smallest amount of throttle causes it to spin. The tire was a tiny bit better after it got broken in, but I have never ridden on a tire that was so bad on traction. I'm now afraid to buy anything Bridgestone any more.

Bridgestone Spitfire Tires

Good price and good looks with the raised white letters. Got caught in a downpour and these tires handled great. I have a Vulcan 750 (modified) and I feel very confident with these tires. I have them on front and back. Can't comment on tread life. Only have about 300 miles on these tires but no signs of wear. Very happy.

Nice tires

I have these tires on a Kawasaki Vulcan I purchased and liked them. So as my collection grew, when I had to replace tires, I did so with this brand/model tire. They handle very nice in corners, have good traction and run smooth at highway speeds. I haven't had them long enough to rate tread life or wetness since I'm in Southern California. We all know it never rains in southern California! :)

EXCELLENT TIRE!!

I put this tire on my 86' Yamaha FZX700 and I will never use another rear tire after using this Spitfire! I have over 7000 miles on the tire and have plenty of tread left; I've put this tire against every road condition you can imagine and it's kept me happy 100% of the way: long trips, packing double, canyon carving, rain, etc. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed!

Super tires

I actually purchased my first set of Spitfires because of the raised white letters. The performance and durability made me buy only Spitfires ever since (three years now) I only buy them from Motorcycle Super Store because they always have them (no back orders) and the price is right.

Second Set

This is the second set of Spitfire's I've had on my 1985 XV1000 Virago. The look is correct for the bike and they handle and wear very well. I can't speak for wet traction, as I never ride in the rain. I got years of service from the last set, and I expect the same from these.

Over 15 years of great service from Spitfire tires.

I was sold after putting the first set on my GoldWing in 1996. S27s on front and S11s on the rear. Best handling tire I've ever run on a heavy bike, and I'll never go back to another brand. Averaged 12k on rear and 18k on front tires. With this tire on a touring bike (GoldWing, Suzuki GS1100GKe, and H-D FLHTCU), you never have to slow down for weather (except ice). I have ridden year-round in 19 countries with Spitfires on several bikes, and highly recommend them to anyone.

not for me again

I have always ran Pirelli, but because of price I decided to try these on my Yamaha tour deluxe. I will not buy them again, they are noisy and track terrible on tar snakes. I have never felt this unstable while cornering as it seems very loose in the back on a hard corner. I'm going back to Pirelli!
