Sticks to the road

After reading reviews, I chose this tire. Not overly concerned about wear - traction more important. I ride fairly hard and have found that this tire holds the road very well. I've not done much aggressive riding in wet conditions, but on dry surfaces, it does fine. Will consider it again in the future.

great tire

Trade wear for traction, good trade. I love cornering and these fit great on my 78 cb750k.

Bridgestone Battlax Rear

Have purchased these before. This one is on an 85 Nighthawk SC. For this bike and the limited riding I do on it, these tires are a good fit. Had them on my Interceptor, which is ridden more, and more aggressively. Found the tread wear to be too quick on the rear. The front held up well, actually transferred to this bike with new rear. Do not inflate this tire above recommended pressures for bike, will cause problems. The price is good, sizing range is wide also to fit older bikes.

Bridgestone Battlax BT45

This is the second Battlax rear tire I've installed on my Nighthawk 750. I got over 7,000 miles on the last one with good traction overall. I am a fairly conservative rider, and mainly commute, and this is the best overall tire over three others I've tried.

A lil too Ol Skool....

I replaced the factory equipped rear, on my 08 EFI 1200 (Stage II) Sportster with a 150/80 16 Battlax. I have chopped/bobbed it, replaced the front with 21" and also run struts (making it a rigid mounted swingarm.) in place of the rear shocks. Running a tire pressure of 25-30 psi, as to have a little "shock" like action for potholes and the like. I have found this tire to be very grippy on take off, (Unintentionally, putting clear air between the front tire and the road). Has better than average cornering, excellent stability and dry characteristics in town or at highway traveling speed. (Sometimes, into triple digit runs.) Wet condition characteristics, I do not feel a reliable judge of, as I run both rear struts and oversized, (21") and much skinnier front tire. Although, an adrenaline junkie, I lack the insensibility, to have a death wish. The only thing, my "Ol Skool" ways leave me desiring with this fairly, incredible tire would be it's longevity and "Burnout" durability!! If I could get a third of the life out of it, as a Bias-Ply, Volkswagon Beetle tire. I believe then and only then, Bridgestone will have found the Holy Grail of Quad Cam Riders, across the globe!!

Bridgestone Battlax BT -45V rear

This tire feels amazing when accelerating or braking, it corners nice as well. I am looking for a decent tire life with this tire. Like the front they respond very decisive or tight. They have a firm grip not sticky but feels good in the turns. This is the 3rd different tire I have had on this 750 nighthawk and this one feels the best set so far, see me 5k miles down the road.

BT45 rear

This tire is replaceing a Dunlop Sportmax II which I hated from the day I bought it. It slipped anytime I throttled through a corner at any "decent" lean angle. Mind you I used to race, so I probably am more aggresive than most. But a little FZR400 shouldn't have the torque to break a tire loose. I have a Battleaxe on the front as well, and love the wear, and stability I get from these. Great tires, and great service / quick shipping from the Superstore!

Great

I am using this tire on my Ninja 250 2006 and am getting about 7000 miles. I can get more miles on the front one but I prefer to change both tires at the same time. At least 80% better than the stock tires.

Excellent, dependable tire

I've been riding BT45's for a number of years on my BMW K75RT. It's an excellent tire at a good price. I think BMW riders put too much emphasis on tire life. Tires are really important, and not that expensive. I'd rather stay up on a good tire with 5,000 miles on it than go down on a longer-lasting tire with 10,000 miles on it. Compare the money you spend on gas with the money you spend on tires. BT45s are a great choice. (I will be trying out the newer Bridgestones soon, though.)

Awesome!

Great tire, got the 150 to replace the stock 130 on my 07' ninja 250. Boy it just fit up in the tunnel and swingarm. But looks great and handles awesome! Havent rode in the rain but imagine this will handle well and have a 1k on it so far but gather it will hold up for the long haul. $145 on sale beats the $244!!!! :-)

Best tire ever

Best tire I ever run on my Connie. Ran Avon’s before, never again. Battlax for me. Waiting for front to wear out to switch to another Bridgestone.

Love these tires!!

Just bought a front and rear bt-45 sport touring to replace the Pirelli sport demons on my 01 ninja 250 and I have to say, way more tire than I was expecting. The stability is great, cornering is superb, wet traction is impressive also, tread wear I'm not yet sure of. All in all I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I will definitely buy these again.

Excellent Tire

This is my second Battlaxe BT45 and I love them. Excellent durability and grip combination! On my last BT45 I put about 12000km on it before it was squared off and time to change. I ride year round in the Pacific Northwest and have no complaints about grip in the wet or dry
