Great in Water, etc.

This is the identical replacement rear for my 2007 Suzuki GS500F. I got 11,000+ miles out of my last one with the front still going strong. Rides great on a dry day or in the rain. I have also recently had to ride home during flash flooding and had no problems going through standing water of a few inches. I will continue to use these as long as they are manufactured, they're a great blend of treadware and stickiness.

Battlax BT=45 Sport Touring tire

I bought this tire to put on the front of my 2005 Goldwing based on comments on the GL1800riders.com forum. So far it has performed as expected. I balanced it with Dynabeads and it is very smooth over 35 mph. Below that speed I feel some vibration in the handlebars due to the tread design.

Good tire

This will be my 5th rear tire for my bike. The first 2 were Bridgestone Battlax BT-45s, and the next two were Pirelli's. I decided to go back with the Bridgestone’s after reading reviews from riders who, like me, have a tire size that removes 'Sport' tires from their list of options. Most agreed that the Bridgestone’s here were their favorite 'Sport/Touring' tire in terms of performance and dependability, and since purchasing my 3rd, I can see why Suzuki chose them as the factory default.

Good Looking Tire

I recently mounted this tire on the front of my 1500 Goldwing Trike. After about 2000 miles its still looks new and really seems to be doing the job.

Good replacement

I replaced a worn 140/70 Bridgestone BT-003 on my 08 Ninja 500R with the same size in this tire, as well as a 110/70 front in the BT 45, as I only got 2800 miles before the rear had no tread in the middle, and after around 1000 miles these seem pretty good, not even really a flat spot. Cornering is good enough for my uses, mostly highway with some canyons, I don’t have any chicken strips on my tire and I haven't felt like I didn’t have enough traction at any point, so that’s good enough for me. They do well in the rain; haven’t had any issues on wet pavement. They ride really smooth, when they were first on it felt like the turn in was a little slower, but after around 50 miles that was gone and the turn in is nice and smooth. Good tire, does exactly what it’s made for.

Great tire

Just came back from a 4300 mile trip across the country-through torrential downpours, gravel roads, and expressway. We put this tire on the front of our trike. It did an excellent job of cornering. No problems whatsoever. Very satisfied!

Great for 09 Ninja 250

I put almost 10,000 miles on my rear Battlax BT-45. Mostly commuting on the freeway, some canyon rides and the yearly 800 mile trek up the Pacific Coast Highway from Los Angeles to Monterey. I'm light and a few mods to the bike have also made it lighter. Never once lost traction or low sided. But I hardly ever ride in the rain.

The BT45 tire is very good

This is on my 4 season daily ride to work bike. Got 10,000 miles out of the original tire and another 10,000 on the BT45 I replaced it with. So when that BT45 needed replacing, I did not hesitate to get another. Does fine in the rain.

works for me

My 87 Honda 600 hurricane needed tires, I’m an above average rider. Great grip, only got loose once on big painted arrow. Very stable and hold pressure great. I recommend

Great tire

I have a 1986 Yamaha XT600 that has same front and back tires. I ride aggressive, almost to the limits of rad and tire. I put 1k miles on the tire and still have a lot of tread left on it. The test on dry or wet was crazy! I just can’t make this tire to slide. No matter what I do it sticks to the road like gum. I recommend it to anyone and any type of bike. I am planning to buy another one, little wider then first one. Shipping and handling was great thanks to Motorcycle-Superstore

Mechanic

I have used the BT-45 on the front and rear of our 1990 K-75 BMW, 2005 Bonniville T-100 and 2004 Moto Guzzi Breva since we first got the Beemer in 2002. We ride about 12,000 miles a year and get about 12,000 miles on the rear tire and 18,000 on the front on all three bikes. We have no complaints at all and will continue to use only BT-45 in the forseeable future and with the increase in cost that is bound to show up soon have purchased spare sets for all bikes at this time. We ride rain or shine throughout the entire year.

Bridgestone Battlax BT-45 tires

This is my second set on a 1986 Honda VF500 'Baby Interceptor' - the last set I took off after just over 11,000 kms (7000 miles) and I could not have been happier - great traction in all conditions, and very durable, outlasting all my other bikes' tire combos... I ride in Vancouver, BC and it rains a lot - the BT-45's I took off were still working well, with lots of grip, but I had picked up 2 nails in the back tire in one day, so I ordered a set of new tires from the Motorcycle Superstore - they got here in 2 days, free shipping, and I am totally stoked by how well the new tires work - smooth ride, great traction, and a very nice feel to the steering. For my bike I believe they are the best tires available.
