Bridgestone BT

I have them on both of my rZ350s. Not a lot of choices in the size range (skinny tires sizes from 80s). Overall good results. First set lasted about 5 years before dry rot cracks before wearing the tread. These are low mileage riders with limited reference to wet weather riding. Overall they seem to handle a roll good.

Great tire great value

Finally replaced the OEM tires on my GS500F. Amazing difference in handling all around. Mounted and balanced them myself with a friend. Tread seems to be holding up well. Grips the curves nice in all weather.

86 Yamaha FZX700 450 lbs.-90 HP

Very good tire with great longevity. Performed excellent in wet/dry traction, stable especially when canyon carving at high speeds with lots of lean angle. I have just rolled over 10,000 miles on this front tire, commuting 5 days a week plus sport riding in the canyons. After 10K the tire is toast, probably 2/32nds of center tread at best, but beware due to their multi-compound rubber with lots of silica on the shoulders, the shoulders wear at twice the rate of the harder center tread.

Excellent tire

Great tire for the money. Getting harder to find tires for some of the older (mid-80's) Jap bikes and these were the correct size. Seem to work very well in all road conditions. I have them on a couple of my other bikes as well. Excellent tire, for a good price, great value!!

Worth the extra bucks

I'm not a racer yet so not much experience on different tires. Though after a few fishtails on hard short stops, bought these and have felt much safer. Another hard short brake that probably would have ended bad on previous, cheaper tires, these brought me to a quick stop comfortably and without losing traction. Don't feel hindered at all from riding in the rain. Can't rate tread life. Need NA option.

New BT-45's

This set of Bridgestone Battlax BT-45's are the first after the stock Meltzer’s that came on my bike. So far I am very happy with them and like the feel and cornering ability. I have not had a chance yet to see how they do in the rain and after only a month can't say anything about tread life.

BT-45s for 2010 Ninja 250

Great all around tires. I Bought a set of BT-45s (110/70/17 & 130/70/17) to replace the worn IRCs that came with my Ninja 250. Huge improvement in stability, wet/dry grip. The BT45 130 is a little wider that the stock IRC 130. Only have a little over 1k on them so far so can't comment about thread life.

Bought the Battlax to replace the old tires on my Yamaha '74 RD200 and the ride has been greatly improved. Very smooth and very stable.

Excellent compromise between traction and treadwear.

I ride a 2007 Kawi EX500 and these tires replaced the stock rubber. The difference is day-to-night. I don't ride nearly as aggressively as I used to, so the traction and cornering aren't as good as say, a Metzler sport compound, but you'll get more treadwear than 5000 miles, too. Note that for aggressive sport touring, these tires are excellent. This review also includes BT-45 Rear tires in the stock sizes, as well. 110/70-17 and 130/70-17.

Awesome Tires!

These tires are awesome on my 05 Ninja 250R. They stick to the road like glue and are great in the rain. My bike should have come with these tires from the factory.
