I'm surprised the XL sized gloves are this small. I got them larger than needed but between the short fingers and narrow palm, I doubt they will get used enough to have the opportunity to stretch or break in. The pressure on the finger tips in uncomfortable, but because of the narrow palm it's not possible to reach the directional switch on the left side control pod without letting go of the grip. The gloves have a comfortable shape, and may be perfect for a passenger, but have too limited of a range of motion for the rider. At least in my wife's case.
So they dont offer much protection... just the palms.. the airflownis great. My favorite gloves, but can only use in summer. They were tight at first.. but after break in.. ooohh these gloves just feel so good! A little pricey for what you get.. i have the older red color and paid 1/3 of the price... best $10 i ever spent.. now its fall and cold... i miss wearing these.
I got these as my first pair of gloves when i was riding on the back of my father's bike. I got them in a medium and at first they felt fine, but as i started to ride my own bike i realized they were way too tight. Every time i would take them off after any length of riding, i had indents in both hands no matter where my hands were or how tightly i was holding on. I also noticed that they offered little in terms of wind breaking. My hands were frequently getting cold from the wind even though it was a nice warm temperature. I wore them for about 2 years before i got new ones, which i am extremely happy with.
I bought these gloves a couple months ago, and been out riding with them several times already, and they are fantastic. They are just loose enough to not be uncomfortable while gripping the handle bars, and they are thin enough to allow air circulation on hot days. They don't pinch me at all and they fit wonderfully. Excellent product and i would recommend them to anyone who needs to gloves.
