Dwaine Bothell,  WA Meh... I was initially very pleased with my purchase of the Thor Tech backpack. I am going to school and needed a pack with a lot of capacity that would be somewhat waterproof and this one seemed to fit the bill. The outside of the pack is very nice with a hard shell covering the back of it and all of the straps are easy to access and adjust. On the inside several pocket options make this pack just what the student ordered. The BIG let down with this pack concerns the cheaply built and sewn on zippers. After 11 uses one of the plastic zipper pulls snapped off while I was closing it. I was able to fix the problem by looping a small key ring into it thus creating a sturdier pull. I shouldn't have had to though. Now, after about a month and a half of usage (4 days a week with 2-3 open/closes) I have trouble with another zipper. It just doesn't want to turn the corner at the top anymore which means that I must draw the other one around to meet it. Not a huge problem but certainly one that I feel could have been rectified by Thor just spending the extra.50 and installing a decent YKK instead of that plastic P.O.C. I really hope this pack will make it a full year but somehow I doubt that it will. Shame really, it had a lot of potential

duffy rich toluca Lake,  CA Thor Motocross - Tech Backpack When I opened the box and took out the pack I was very pleased. It seemed durable and the finish was great. I took it for an overnight trip and it was comfortable and fit all my gear. However, immediately the zipper tabs began to pull off. Not just one, but three. One right after another. Then I noticed that the main strap on the left side was pulling out. The threads were fraying and all I could expect that is that it would pull out further. I called the Motorcycle Superstore and asked for an exchange which they immediately processed.
