Airframe Artist Series Manic Helmet

Incredible!!

Great helmet overall. Very comfortable and good optics, no fogging on the visor no matter what the temperature. Fits great and sizing is spot on, glad I bought this one. Pro lock is a little stiff but holds the visor well.

Great helmet

Bought this helmet on closeout, but after receiving it and trying it out, I would have paid full price for it. Great helmet design - the graphics are stunning on the red. Fit is snug (even after 1 month, it still fits snug). ventilation is average. One thing that annoys me is the pin lock - it is extremely hard to open (even after 1 month it hasn't loosened up). Other than that, I highly recommend this helmet.

Excellent helmet for a reasonable price

Best helmet for the money. Aerodynamics are great on a naked bike with no windscreen. It is very light and compact. Visibility is good, the visor does not tend to fog. Pads feel high-quality. Vents move a ton of air! The neckroll is very tight, which works well to reduce noise and wind buffeting, but makes ingress and egress a bit of a nuisance. It's worth it though, the comfort and fit while riding are excellent. Glow-in-the-dark looks exactly as pictured, can't wait to ride at night!

Sizing

Before buying this helmet, try it on locally. I normally wear a medium but a medium in the Airmada not only hurt to put on but hurt to have on my head. It was like an instant throbbing headache. My ears were burning with the helmet on. So next, I grabbed a large. Now the fit was too loose. With it strapped as tight as possible, I could still move the helmet at least an inch without it moving my head. Also, there is a large amount of space in front of your chin.

Bad Fit

I'm sorry to give this helmet a bad review, since it is such a cool looking helmet (I got the orange), but the fit was really bad for me. It is supposedly made for an oval shaped head, which I must not have. It was tight to put on, but once I got it over my head, it was too loose. Definitely would not have saved anything in the event of a crash. Also, compared to my old HJC, it is a very large helmet; looks huge on my head. However, the next size down wouldn't even fit over my head.
