Scorpion SGS Gloves

When the focus is on safety, a common pitfall is to allow protection slowly overwhelm the design of a glove. Weight, bulk and awkward interaction with the controls are too often the result. Bucking this trend is the Scorpion SGS, a motorcycle glove that is short and flexible and yet still containing protectors, Kevlar reinforcements and palm sliders.
  • Top grade, perforated and non-perforated leather upper and fourchette
  • Kangaroo skin palm for control-feel and abrasion resistance
  • Knox SPS® (Scaphoid Protection System) palm sliders
  • Superfabric® armor plated material panels provide flexible abrasion barriers
  • TPU molded knuckle protection
  • Hook and loop wrist closure
  • Pre-curved palm and fingers for grip comfort
  • Kevlar protective internal palm patch
  • Kevlar out-stitched palm and fingers eliminate interior seam feel
  • Item # 59101

Outstanding gloves

Outstanding gloves if you're looking for serious protection in a short glove. From the knuckle guards, skid pads, kevlar palms, these glove had some serious safety design put in. A little snug fitting, they broke in after about 3 rides. If you want to be protected in a real fall, these will give you confidence.

Over all great

Gloves fit, feel, and look great. The only issue I had is the left middle finger stiching came out a little. I just restiched it tighter. Other than that, perfect.

Good Gloves

I've owned these for about 2 months now, and they look great. I trust that my hands will be protected in whatever situation I put them in. The price isn't too horrible for what you're paying for. Your hands are usually the first things to touch the pavement if you go down, for most people, having them torn to shreds isn't ideal. only 1 issue! I have pretty small hands usually. Like, small enough to get made fun of on construction sites. lol So reading the reviews I decided to go with a bigger size, which was a medium and for some reason, during longer rides, if i'm not constantly stretching my fingers or trying to get the blood flowing, my throttle hand will start to go numb. Not very ideal for anything, especially braking.. I have noticed that it is considerably better than when I first started using them. I'm not sure if it's because of the curved fit they have in the fingers or in the size i chose. I think if I went larger, they might feel too loose. I love the gloves, but I'm hoping the right glove breaks in more?

stitching bad

I use this glove for general commuting and have owned them for one full season, (7 months of riding in upstate NY) These gloves fit super tight at first but after first ride they molded to my hands and fit perfectly. The protection is on par with a $250.00 GP glove. The kangaroo skin on the palm is a very nice added feature, very grippy. These gloves breath excellent even on very hot and humid days. The only problem I have with these gloves is the quality of stitching. The stitching came un done on the middle finger first and then terribly on the index finger. I did NOT buy these from M superstore.

NICE GLOVE

If you actually take the time and measure your hand the fit was perfect. Leather needs to be thicker. Summer glove ventalation is well placed. Love the color stands out. Not a fan of the placement of two plastic palm molds. Cost benefit was great.

Great Glove. Size chart wrong!

These are great gloves and offer tons of protection. They were a little hard for me to get used to but now I hardly even notice them on. Now the size chart is wayyyy off, I measured an XL on the size chart and luckily for other reviews saying it was wrong I got a medium and it fit perfect! There is a different size chart floating around the internet and that one was spot on for me.

Very nice gloves

Received these and rode 3 hours in them, I really like these gloves. I bought an XL, normally wear a large, they fit small, so get a size larger than you normally wear. They feel great on, good feel of controls and lots of protection. I highly recommend these, you won't be disappointed.

Scorpion SGS Gloves - Black

These gloves are very nice, they are small in size, so order larger than you normally wear. I wear a large and an XL fit perfect, but my hands are small. Received them today and wore them on a 3 hour ride and they were broke in by the end of my ride. Nice feel from the palm, really like the cloth inside on the back of the hand, these gloves feel very expensive and the protection is excellent. Very pleased, I highly recommend these gloves.

Best Cost Effective Street Supermoto Gloves

Bought these gloves for my supermoto which I ride on the streets and the occasional off-road romp! I must admit, so far they seem quite sturdy and ready for any kind of abuse! As with any new leather gloves they require the usual "Breaking In Time" but they are true to size i.e. I ordered a medium based on the sizing chart and they are MEDIUM. While I am not looking forward to crash testing them, I am confident they would protect my "money makers" DEFINITELY SATISFIED!

Good quality for the price

I thought the gloves were pretty good quality for the price. The knuckle protector did not fit well on my hand and cut into the back of my hand. I think there needs to be more padding under the knuckle protector and the bottom edge of the knuckle protector needs to be less sharp. Otherwise, a good glove for the money.
