    Runs large

The GMax helmet had decent finish and a great price, but it ran at least a full size larger than most other brands. Another drawback is that GMax only uses two shell sizes, so in the smaller sizes for each shell the dreaded "mushroom head" is very apparent.

    Not worth the savings

Got two helmets. Neither helmet fit good. Straps were uneven and they were a mushroom head fit. You might as well spend the money and get a helmet that you will be happy with.

This helmet far exceded my expectations. It fits perfect, of course my head size is right between XL & XXL, I got the XXL. It looks great. And the price was right. I am very happy that I found this helmet.

    Good Helmet, appears too big

Great fitting, comfortable helmet. Finish is attractive. It is somewhat of a mushroom on your head though. No one will really notice except you though. People should be looking at the slick bike you are riding....

    Nice Helmet

Helmet fits to size. Sits down on head. A little mushroom head, but not too bad. Stays on head good at higher speeds. Very good helmet for the price!

Quality helmet and good price. I ordered my normal size and it is a perfect fit. Stays on my head firmly with loose chin strap. If you’re looking for a lid this is good choice.

    GM35X Half Helmet

Awesome helmet for the price...! Great looking carbon fiber finish and an excellent fit. Wished the chin strap were a few inches longer so I could keep the end of the strap looped through the buckle when I take off the helmet. Other than that... very happy with the purchase.

    Helmet head

I bought this helmet and a Vega xts. I kept the Vega xts because it was a smaller look. Both fit well but the GMax sits huge with a mushroom look. In other words. Get the GMax if you have a round head. Get the Vega xts if your head is ovalish and you want a smaller overall look. The Vega also fit better than the carbon fiber helmet that I bought and returned($160). I would definitely recommend the detachable ear pads - A MUST BUY if you want to ride in colder weather of don't want to hear those V&H pipes all day!!

    Great Buy

Is this the best helmet in the world, no! But look at the price. For that price it's hard to beat. It's a great helmet to buy if you're not sure which one you really want and you just need something quick. You can always use it later as a backup or for a second rider.

Nice helmet. The best thing is where I got it from Motorcycle Superstore. This thing came so fast and real good service. Thanks, Tony

    GMax Half helmet

The helmet fit perfectly and for the price you can't beat it. This helmet meets DOT standard so you know it will do its job as far as safety goes. The only concern is cosmetic. The helmet looks a little big as far as half helmets go but I would rather look funny alive than look cool 6 feet under. Great product!

    ehh

Helmet is HUGE, i sent it back, looked like a mushroom on my head. However it was fairly comfortable and a decent price, just not what i was looking for.

Used helmet on a couple of long rides. Very comfortable fit plus good ventilation. It fits down on your head instead of up high like many other helmets.
