Bel-Ray Gear Saver Transmission Oil

When it comes to ultimate transmission and clutch protection, nothing beats Bel-Ray Gear Saver. Extreme Pressure additives absorb the heaviest shock loads that regular motor oils just can't handle. Ultrahigh film strength eliminates metal-to-metal contact for less friction, wear and heat. It won't foam or break down.
  • Formulated to protect transmission gears from wear
  • Positive clutch engagement for better starts and longer clutch life
  • Protects shafts, bearings and gears
  • For air-cooled / liquid-cooled 2T / 4T engines with wet clutches
  • OEM Gearcase Oil for Polaris ATVs and UTVs
  • Item # 5770

The Best

In all my year's of motor cycling and owning different machines from Norton's to Kawasaki's I've always tried to use the best oil in my cycles .And I've alway's come back to using Bel-Ray oil's . If you own a vintage 2 stroke as I do , you need to use the Bel-Ray 2 stroke mineral oil and the trans saver 80 wt oil . So, when you use Bel-Ray oil's you are using the best. Don

Seems to shift better and the bel-ray helps to locate neutral a whole lot easier than the old fluid. can't check the temp yet to see if has dropped, but i am hoping it will run cooler

Use instead of 20w-50 HD motor oil

HD recommends replacement fluid using 20w-50w motor oil for the tranny. Literally had to pick myself off the floor after finding this and began the search for realistic fluids. After much research settled on Bel-Ray and was surprised by how well the bike shifted and the elusive neutral position was a thing of the past. Increased heat dissipation also seemed to a rewarding realization upon use. If you don’t believe the review, try it. You can always drain it later, but I doubt it.
