Very Tacky!

I just tried it out for the first time and love it. Very sticky stuff. I just put it in a gallon ziplock bag, poured the oil in and squished it all around.

good stuff

I have used this product for years and it is exceptional. Great when the going is wet too. Proper application can be done in many ways but the easiest is to put the filter into a big zip-loc bag pour in some oil and make sure every bit of it is covered inside and out, should be saturated. Then squeeze out the excess. The excess can be reused. Then take a paper towel or two and squeeze the filter into it to take up the rest of the excess. Should allow a day to dry but I've ridden it fresh.

Great protection

Very sticky oil that saturates the filter much deeper than the spray-on type oils. Never had any jetting issues with it either.

Time will tell

I purchased the filter oil because I had a filter fall apart causing much of the filter to get sucked through my engine. Thinking maybe the oil I used caused this, I wanted an oil made specific for foam filters to start off a new filter. Time will tell how it works, lasts and washes out. For now it gets a high rating.

Used too much, I think

I saturated the filter with this stuff, then wrang it out but not an easy task. I'm used to 90wt.oil, I'm thinking I should have painted a coat of Bel-Ray on the outside of my filter, by the way I have a 1976 Honda MR175 Elsinor Enduro, that needs the carb cleaned. I would like some feedback or even better mfg.instructions written on the bottle so dummy's like me don't gum up their carbs.
