Excellent oil

I have used this and other oils. My 2013 CRF450 likes it a lot. Holds up good inbetween oil changes. Would recommend.

It's synthetic oil so not much to say.

Arrived fully sealed. Nice pour spout built in. First time using this brand and variety. Normally I'm a Repsol, Mobil1 or Castrol user, but it came recommended for my newest bike. Only on 2nd oil change, but it seems to be working well on street and dirt for my Tiger 800xc.

The product came unsealed. I can't even tell if it's really the oil I ordered. Very disappointed.

Disappointed

As a long-time fan of Bel-Ray products I opted for the EXP on my last oil change as I was a bit short on cash at the time. I generally use full synthetics in my SV650. At first the EXP worked great. Shifting was smooth, engine was smooth. About 3 months and 1500 miles later, (I commute about 30 miles a day) I noticed shifting in low speed traffic was becoming difficult. I went to my local bike mechanic and he checked things out and said it very well could be the oil. We changed the oil, this time with Repsol full synthetic, and within the first couple of minutes shifting returned to normal. I have used Bel-Ray oil in my 20 years of motorcycling, but they missed the mark with this one.

bel-ray exp

The best oil period as far as I'm concerned I do all my own servicing and from what I have seen come out of my bike and friends bikes, bel-ray exp has the best viscosity after 3000 miles of high rpm riding, and helps prevent clutch wear better than motul, which also costs a bit more.

Bel-Ray EXP

Been using this product for nearly 13 years. I wanted something better than Dino oil, but yet feel as though a full Synthetic is not needed for the riding that I do. After switching to the EXP in a bike that has been running the OEM Dino oil smoother shifting has been noticed.

Bel-Ray EXP motor oil

I have been using this oil for the past 20 years with great results. A semi synthetic blend and engineered for motorcycles, safe on the clutch and reasonably priced. Bel-Ray is the only way to go.
