This is the third pair of these for our family. Would never go back to painful MX boots. So comfortable and they appear to give pretty good protection for trail riding and dual sporting.

LOVE THESE BOOTS, THIS IS MY SECOND PAIR AND I DONT PLAN ON BUYING ANYTHING ELSE. I HAVE HAD MY FIRST PAIR ABOUT A YEAR AND THEY STILL LOOK VERY GOOD AND ARE HOLDING UP GREAT. REALLY A NICE BOOT FOR THE MONEY. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

These are the best boots out there, hands down! After trying every option available from Fox and AlpineStars, I decided to try these boots just based on the reviews all over the internet. They are absolutely perfect. Glad I took the chance on these.

Got these boots because a buddy said they were awesome. Spent the extra bucks b/c I knew I'd want and need the waterproof qualities this version had over other variants. Took a trip to the Swiss-Austrian-Italian Alps last week. Rained probably 6 of the 13 days we were riding. The front half of both of my feet were completely soaked on each of these days. Luckily I had thick socks for the first few days so at least my wet feet were warm...still wet. In the latter days, I ran out of heavy socks so my feet were cold (and wet) taking much of the enjoyment out of the riding we were doing. Best part about wet boots is taking them off and putting on dry socks at the end of a 9 hour riding day. Next best part...putting the wet boots back on the next morning because you have another 9 hours to ride. I think they look cool. They have great traction with the gummy sole. THEY ARE NOT WATERPROOF!! For $300+ I'd expect a better boot. Both of the guys in the group riding Sidis had no issues. Feet warm and dry. One guy's were several years old. If I can get my money back from Gaerne, I'll be buying Sidi's. Otherwise, these will be an expensive pair of dry wx only adventure boots - which obviously doesn't work. wha whaaaaaaa.

I am a size 44, but they only offer size 43 or 44 1/2. This was a big disappointment that they only had American sizing when it is manufactured in Italy. They seem like they will hold up well for the trail and dual sport riding I do up here in New England. I tested them out(not on purpose) a few weeks back. My wr250r slammed down on my left leg on a giant boulder. All I felt was a little pressure no pain. The boots do an excellent job at protecting.
