I got what I was looking for......

I was looking for an overpant to wear during cooler riding conditions when the weather transitions between late winter and early spring. The Tourmaster Quest pant has several features I was interested in. They are waterproof, sized large enough to be worn over a pair of jeans, windproof, and warm. I have other riding gear for other conditions, but I wanted something for those in-between weather conditions without having to feel guilty about buying another expensive set of pants. I can abuse these and not have to worry about it. I have worn the pants several times since purchasing them and they have met all my expectations for gear at that price point. I am completely satisfied with the fit, finish, and quality.

Great pants for fit but zippers and velcro closings don't last

Bought these pants about 2 years ago. Looking to buy again as there are very few hi-viz pants in the marketplace. They fit well but almost from the beginning the velcro ankle closures wouldn't grip. Over the past year the zippers have become increasingly a challenge to the point that as I look at riding this fall i have to replace the pants (the zippers no longer work below the knee). Wish I could get more durable hi-viz pants.

Overpants

Sizing all wrong for me, returned. No idea about durability features etc... Did notice there were no ankle adjustments.

Great pants

I live in Chicago, and it gets very hot and humid here. The traffic / construction is incredibly bad here, so the commute home in stop and go traffic gets really uncomfortable. I needed something to provide good protection yet not cook me to death. I had a pair of AGV Sport Solare Vented Pants that didn't quite last 2 years. They were OK, but I felt they didn't breath as much as I wanted them to. The liner in one leg came loose and that made it very difficult to get my leg through the pants opening. The crotch also started to split open. It was time for new pants. I did a lot of research on the different mesh pants out there, and decided to give these a try. I've ridden a week with them now, and I like them quite a bit. I'm 6' tall and 195 pounds with an inseam of 32" and pants waist size of 34", but 36" actual waist measurement. I got the large regular and they fit just right. They breathe far more than the AGV pants. They are a looser fit, probably so that you can wear jeans or other pants under them. And you would be able to. I don't, so they are a bit baggier on me than the AGV. But, since it's summer, I'm riding without the two liners these pants come with. They will certainly need the space when I put them in. I ride in the winter as well, and I'm grateful for the quilted liner these come with. I'm sure to use them. In conclusion, these pants are a good value for the money. I hope they're as durable as I think they'll be. Time will tell!

Outstanding pants

Excellent for hot weather riding, heavy material in the impact areas but vented in the back and inside of the legs. Good adjust ability in the waist, just the right length. Very high quality in the fabric and stitching and the pants have some heft to them so I feel protected. Highly recommend them if you're serious about your protective gear.
