So far so good
I've only had a chance to wear the jacket a few times, but it really is a quality piece of gear. It tends to ride up a little with all the vents open, I think attaching it to the pants will fix that. As it is, it flows a ton of air and has kept me cool in the warm Florida spring.
Does the job
I went with the Orange color for visibility and paired it with the Trey Pants. On my morning commute, I noticed an appreciable difference in how quickly cars spotted me. The ventilation was great and my back didn't get all sweaty like many other jackets I've used in the past. I plan on purchasing a replacement soon. Why? Well let's just say that this jacket (and the sas tec armor) really does its job well.
Excellent jacket, especially for the price
The fit is a complicated story. At 6-1, 170, I have been a size Large in every jacket my entire adult life. Based on reviews, I ordered a size X-Large. Good choice. With two liners it's comfortably snug. But with no liners it is definitely loose. You can tighten it up using the Velcro belts so the looseness is not really a problem. In summary: when it's cold out it is snug and when it's warm it is a little loose. Not bad. Main pockets are also a little small...

One season Jacket
I have a lot of Joe Rocket gear that has been with me through many seasons. As said in a few other reviews this jacket just seems to be put together poorly. The weakest points are the zippers. Not only do they leak in relatively light rain, they are not very sturdy. This jacket limped through last season with both cuff zippers failing, then the inside main zipper and finally the front zipper which made the jacket unusable.
I bought an XXL (one size bigger) just in case it ran small but I think an XL would've been just fine. I kept it anyway. I took the armor pads out of the shoulders and elbows since they wouldn't sit in the proper position on me. It vents very well so far. I avoid riding in the rain so don't know about rain resistance.
My first leather jacket
As the title says this is my first leather jacket and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'm 5'11 155lbs (athletic build) and the medium fits like a glove. The whole jacket is well made with plenty of pockets and hefty zippers to stash anything you need. I was surprised it came with its own hangar and protective cover for storage. The only reason it got 4/5 stars in cost benefit is for the price I feel like it should come with armor. Other than that I highly recommend this jacket.
