Best tires Ive ever used

I bought this tire along with the matching rear summer 2009. I’ve put over 1500 road miles on them so far, and cannot give the tires enough kudos. I own a 2008 Yamaha XT250, and I ride it 100% Street, but have done a couple small excursions on loose dirt. The tire is 70/30, so it leans mainly toward street use, and is unbelievable on pavement. Wear is very good so far, and I imagine 5-6K miles should be very easy for these tires, possibly more. The tires aren't really all that good on loose gravel, but they do bite somewhat, and can offer some fire road fun, but forget grass, or anything requiring a real "knob" with deep edges. Wet weather traction is also fantastic, but mud might prove a little much. Handling is superb, and with it, I find I can actually rail corners a little... The bike has crisp turning ability, and a very smooth/quiet ride with these on it. Pricing is also excellent. Buy them if you are looking for an outstanding dual sport tire that you mainly want for the street, but can off-road in a pinch. I strongly recommend them.

Came stock and I will use it again on my KTM

This is the stock tire on my KTM 990. I've managed about 6300 miles out of rear tire in the first season. It probably has a couple hundred more miles in it. I ride very aggressively on the street but also have done a couple thousand miles of fully loaded, 2-up, touring. Was considering the Sahara 3 as a replacement, but for the price, I'm going to stick with the MT 90 Scorpion A/T.

Great tire

Great tire for the KTM 990 adventure. Works terrific on and off road and wears well. I also use it on my 690 Enduro during the summer. You will be very happy with this tire.

GREAT OEM Replacement @ GREAT Price!

I bought a KTM 530EXC Championship model last spring and it comes stock with a nice set of Metzler Knobs (100% Off-road)...Well, needless to say, great tires for the dirt and not so good for pavement unless you never have to turn or you like drifting on what little rubber contacts the road when turning hard. Bought a matching set of Pirelli MT 90 Scorpion A/T's. The stock rear was a 140/80 with a lot of room each side from the swingarm, so I decided to get the 150/70 with the intention of getting a little more traction tradeoff because of the wider tread. I didn't know the 150 is a tubeless tire. It's VERY stiff and was a bit more difficult to install by hand. In fact, it's so stiff I could probably ride it back to camp with a flat without much trouble. I see this as a good thing because this would be very difficult to repair on the trail. On the good side it sticks like glue on the road and has very good traction off-road. I run the front and rear at 15PSI off-road and am very pleased with the performance. They also are showing great tread wear. I'll buy another set when these wear out and would highly recommend these tires to anyone with a large dual-sport ride.

MT 90s make great "clean" DS tires.

I bought a pair of MT 90s and an extra set of wheels to use on my 2007 XR650L. They work great in that role, but I wouldn't go into the woods on them unless we had a really long dry spell. Rear 140/80S-18 fits nicely but is at least an inch taller than the Continental TKC 80 that is my "dirtier" DS tire. With the stock 15/45 gearing and MT 90 on the rear, longer range street riding is much more relaxed. Power wheelies are a little more work, but lazy 70mph cruising is nice sometimes.

Pirelli Scorpion M/T90 Rear

Great tire at a great price, bike handles well on the pavement did not take it off road yet. It does not exhibit any of the issues the front has on the freeway! Certainly would buy it again!

These tires totally kick butt on the tight twisty pavement. Full finger grip even when completely railing vs super moto shod equipment. They'll rip a new hole in your moto-bellum.

Excellent tires. These are my go to tires for road trips on my Husky 610. Stick really well wet or dry. I don't run them off road I have other tires for that. Mileage is good, I run the 140/18 on the back. The front has been thru 2 rears.

Good tire

Put these on my 07 husky te510 which sees 90/10 riding in favor of the street. Great tire for this duty. Sticky, wears great when ridden hard, decent off road. Will probably buy again. Mounted by hand easily, which is a plus to me.

drz400e the best on road wet or dry

I've got over 100000 miles on my drz full time rider with paniners loaded. 3000+ highway miles in summer. Best wet weather tire for drz400e, air psi rear 25 front 18,3 rear tires to one front; in cold weather tires need to be warmed up. Off road sticks good to rock but loads up in mud' gravel is bad tire will get cut up if your on it /ride on stay safe.

Great for roads

I just purchased my second rear tire, the front will last a good bit longer. I ride my Honda XR 650 as my primary transportation in town. These tires have great traction in dry and wet weather, even when the tread had been worn down to about 1mm. If you do any off road riding, these tires do well on packed trails. However, soft or muddy trails will have you fighting all day to stay upright, since I only go off road 2-3 a year they work great for me.
