GREAT PIECE

I love this briefcase. I have traveled about 10,000 miles using this piece and it works great and is very durable. My only complaint is that the rain cover will not prevent the computer from getting wet. I found that placing the computer in one of the large Ziploc bags before putting it in the briefcase saves a great deal of repair and prevents it from getting wet.

Iron Rider Commuter Briefcase

This briefcase is built well, fits securely on my VTX 1300 sissy bar when traveling to and from job sites. It has plenty of room for laptop and documents. I use it every day.

Exactly what it says on the tin

This briefcase is better than any other briefcase I've owned, motorcycle or otherwise. Enough room inside for your various papers and such, internal velcro straps and padding that can fit a 15" laptop with room to spare, small pockets for pens and other things. Secures well to any sissy bar, but I do recommend using a luggage rack too, to keep the bottom from getting mushed against your taillight. I've switched over; I use this briefcase even when I'm not on my bike.

Excellent products!

The Iron Rider Commuter Briefcase is the second product I have bought to help me get to work and to classes on my scooter. I am quite pleased with the quality of the products and the little details that make the products excellent values for motorcycle riders. While recently browsing the local HD dealer, even their staff recommended Iron Rider products over their own line of luggage as an excellent value and product.

He loves it!

My husband put the Iron Rider Briefcase on his birthday wish list. He needed something better to carry his PC and other work "stuff" in when he used his motorcycle for commuting (that would be most days!). He absolutely loves it. He says it is even nicer than expected!!!

Too Early To Tell?

It was winter when I made the purchase. So far the unit gets high praise for fit, finish, and features. I gave it a 5 for durability and a 2 for cost benefit because I have yet to see how it is going to work with my Vulcan. I may have to follow this up on a later date....

Surprised...

Compared to the regular briefcase by U.S. luggage that I've owned for nearly 10 years, this one seems thin and very flimsy. I find the lack of padding to be the part that concerns me most. I have a daily commute of 64 miles roundtrip on my Vstar 1100, and don't trust the little bit of padding in this bag to protect my laptop during the ride. Other than that, the harness to attach to the sissybar seems pretty sturdy, and its a good looking bag.
