Would not change to anything else

I got a set of tires (front and rear) for my summer trip. I rode some 5,500 miles and the Tourances came through like champions in all kinds of highways: Texas flatlands, Colorado, Wyoming and South Dakota mountains, and Utah and Arizona deserts. They look like they can take another 5,500-mile trip.

Tourance ist der Hammer! (Tourance is the best!)

I have had 2 BMW GS1200's (05 and 08 ADV) and have only trusted the Metzler Tourance. I have put 10k on the rears over pavement, gravel, rocky track and have always been impressed with the way the Tourance handles most surfaces. I have been equally impressed with how fast Motorcycle Superstore got them shipped to me. I give them 2 thumbs up along with the tire.

METZELER TOURANCE REAR TIRE

With 95k miles currently showing on my R1200GS, I've run quite a few sets of Tourances, and I have always been pleased with the handling, traction, and tire wear. I don't think they lose anything to the newer dual compound tires.

Metzeler Tourance tyres

I ride a BMW R1200gs. These tires really last, the bike handles well, they offer good grip and I've had no problems with them.

Replaced the stock tire

Just replaced with the same tire that was on my bike when purchased. (1200 GSA) I run the bike lightly loaded but with my bags. Two trips loaded with camp gear. About half of this is commuter miles. Over all impressed with the handling. Front tire shows wear, but is still going strong. The price was the determining factor on my purchase. And because the performance in all conditions was good, it was an easy choice.

Tourance

Replacing Metzler Tourance at 14,500 miles. Front still looks good, no cupping. Still much useable tread on rear, just replacing both for the upcoming riding season. Rode this set of tires from Michigan to Texas and back, then to California and back. Great tires. Using on Suzuki DL-650 V-Strom.

Tires

Great tire. I know there are less $$$ tires out there, but I have always got good mileage out of these tires. I am off-road 25%, and on-road 75% on a 02 R1150 GSA. I live in the mountains of upstate S.C. and N.C. These tires are great in the curves and rain. Motorcycle Superstore have super-fast shipping. They are where I buy all my tires.

Waco to Deadhorse

I have used these tires ever since I have had my V-Strom DL650. I've rode in sand, mud, an lots of gravel roads. This tire has been the best I've found for durability, wear, an grip on the street. I use one set to travel from Waco TX, to Deadhorse Alaska. They did great!! No problems on the Dalton Hwy. 10,400 miles on that run without any problems. Its the only tire I buy!

Awesome value

Replaced the original Bridgestone TWs on my V-Strom at 10,600. They were fine but shortlived. Currently at 2,500 and still have a bit to go. Highly recommend them.
