Good Finish

The tire looks good and easy to mount, but very slippery on gravel forest roads, seems to perform worse than my stock trail wings. (KLX 351s)

Great Tire

Put these on my DRZ400-S, perform great on the road. They slip around on hard pack and lightly rocky sections off road, but that's definitely expected from a 70/30 tire. Overall performed well off road and works great on road.

Pleased so far

I ride my BMW R100 GS in Costa Rica. The 80/20 requirement, the weight of the bike and the 18" rear wheel made the field very narrow. The first 50 miles felt sluggish on the curves. But when I discovered that the tire guy hadn't put any air in the front I quickly pumped in 38 psi. Obviously they have sturdy sidewalls. The tire(s) handle confidently both on asphalt and corse gravel. I am hoping to get >6000 miles from them.

Metzler Sahara Tires

Tires arrived on time and in good condition. After 6 months of use they look great, are smooth on pavement and hold well on dirt. I am very satisfied with this product - they are a superior fit for my KLR 650.

great tire

I ride a KLR 650. Factory tires went about 5,000 miles didn't care for handling or ride. Put a set of cheap dual sport tires on after that put about 5,000 on them. You get what you pay for. Upgraded to the Metzeler Enduro 3 Sahara love them. Combine that with outstanding price, shipping & customer service from the motorcycle superstore & I am a happy returning customer. Highly recommend these tires & the superstore

Metzeler Enduro 3 Sahara: A great tire!

I’ve probably put on about 15k - 25k miles on a couple of sets of these tires and think they are amazing. They are listed as an 80/20 tire and I would go with that. They handle dirt-trails and single-track too quite well. On the street, GREAT traction and wear. I know I can get 6k - 10k for these tires with minimal dirt roads. These tires are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, which is a tire with better capabilities than its competitors and will outlast them at the same time. This is my “go anywhere” tire anywhere in the U.S.

Good road tire

These Dual Sport tires are good for dry pavement or dirt, but are just ok on wet pavement. In sand they are bad, in mud they are horrible. If you want more off-road traction, TKC80s are great.

Great tire!

These tires (front and rear) came stock on my KTM 640 LC4-E and they have lasted upwards of 8,000 miles, including a trip from Fairbanks, AK to B.C., Canada on the Alcan Highway, and are still gripping. I will definitely be getting another set!

ame on bike I bought. Reviewed on 1/13/10

This tire came on a XR650L I bought last February. It also had the matching Rear tire. The original owner put them on around 4000 miles. I changed them out at 10800 miles and could have gone another 500-600 miles easily. 7000 miles is pretty good I think. They handled very well on pavement and were good on gravel roads too. The only thing they did not do well in was mud but that was to be expected. The front got a little squirrely. I have gone through one set of D-606's(note: worn out at 3000 miles) since then BUT I am seriously considering getting another set of Metzeler Enduros for longer trips. If you don't do any hard core off road and like a very stable tire get these.

Metzeler-Enduro 3 Sahara Front Tire

I ride a KLR 650 and I noticed less vibration in the handlebars. Also a super grip of the road. The ride is smoother as well. It is a great tire.
