Good replacements for my play bike DR200se

These tires are good, reasonably priced for my putt putt ... around town bike. Lots of rubber. Soft ride, probably good for 4K miles. Went on easy, use lots of soapy water and you can almost force them on without tools. My only complaint is the rear tread pattern is buzzy loud on the street. When you lean to turn it stops until you are upright again. It's a little noticeable. People walking ahead of you can hear you coming. Front tire is great, no noise.

Good trials tire alternative

I like running these on the slick rock in Moab. I was turned on to these tires about 8 years ago by a local shop calling these a "poor man's trials tire" The rubber is really soft and they hook up similarly to a trials tire for about 1/3 the cost especially when running lower tire pressure. I've run these on a KTM350, XR650R and KTM200 and hook up well and are quiet on the highway. The rear wears quickly with aggressive riding. I don't like how they handle if you are really going to aggressively attack corners on the Highway. However, if you are going to use them for technical rocks, they are my #1 choice. Sand & mud, performance is fair.

DS Tire

I loved this tire on XL600R as a dual sport tire and it's working great on the XL200 for short track and TT.

Great Value

I've installed Kenda 270s on my '77 Honda XL 350, '79 Kawasaki KLX 250, and '01 Kawasaki KLR 650. Good all around tires for light dual-sport New England riding- paved roads, class six dirt roads, and some easy single-track trails. Great price, excellent service, and fast delivery from Motorcycle Superstore.

Kenda K270 tire

Love it. I'm running matching Kenda pairs on my Suzuki DR 350s. I drive 35 miles around trip daily to work which half is black top and the rest is dirt roads. They hook up well in mud and soft sand and do great on wet pavement. With almost 500 miles on them I can see no wear. Awesome for the price!

On my second set of 270's

I clocked over 6,500 miles on the first set of tires. The front tire was over with and needed to be replaced. The back knob still has some life yet. I ordered another set and changed out the front. About 90% of my riding was on the street. These tires have LASTING power on pavement. Scrub them in and don't get too crazy the first 200 miles.

Excellent tire

This is my third set of Kendas. Very good on pavement, excellent on dirt & rock. Low noise, but increases as tire wears. I have scraped the footpegs on pavement turns with my KLR650 without any feeling of loss of control. Expect 4000 miles on this tire.

Great tire for the price. Some say front end is squirmy, tire is fine, just dont go around a sharp corner at 60 mph.

Good for 50/50

Used these on my KTM 250 EXC Racing dual sport for the TAT and general easy offroad stuff. Worked well on slick Tennessee water crossings (better than the 606s my son was using). Very good on the road and on fireroads. Usually gets me through the mud if not too deep but it aint easy.

Great tires/value

The Kenda 270s were easy to install, feel great on the dirt, and are half the price of the Dunlops. No interference issues on back tire. I'm glad I bought them.
