Dunlop D606 dual sport rear tire

I like the 606 for performance and wear. I have tried the Pirelli MT21 rear, but I didn't think it wore as well as the 606.

Dunlop D606 dual sport rear tire

This is awesome. The moment it was mounted on my DR650 I felt the height adjustment and it feels like higher than the old Pirelli. I love the handling and it really needs about 100 more miles to break in and once you done with that you can enjoy the ride conquering almost any terrain. Oh! the price was right too. Ride hard or stay at home.

Dunlop-D606

Truly an off road tire with the benefit of highway usage. I have had 4 on my Aprilia RXV 550. Hooks up great in the dirt and has some, but minimal vibration on asphalt. I get about 1K miles simply because I burn them off. It's the only way to go on a true dual sport.

Aggressive Dual Sport Rear Tire

I am on my second D606 rear tire I ride about 50/50 hard top, dirt seasonal roads & trails. I got 2000 miles out of last one should get 1500-2000 miles from this tire I ride a xr650l my son has one on a DR350, very good traction in dirt & mud handles well on pavement. We run the D606 front also, 22psi in both don't run anymore as the rear will feel like it wants to kick out in corners on pavement. Overall I don't think you can beat this tire for an aggressive dual sport tire.

Oops! I ordered the wrong size

Stock size for my XT225 was 120/80 R18 and I ordered 120/90 R18. I had it mounted and dealer said it seemed large. I took it home on and tried it out. It was rubbing but didn't seem bad. Rode the bike to work at highway speeds and destroyed the tire. Wish they had this in a smaller size but they didn't so I ended up getting a Kenda K760 in the RIGHT size as a replacement!

Dunlop 606 Dual Sport Tire

I have tried all different brands of dual sport tires, nothing is better than the Dunlop 606. Great traction, durability and tread pattern.

606 dunlap on Dr650

As usual fast delivery service. This is the 2nd 606 on the rear of a DR 650 Suzuki. This tire works well in the dirt and not bad on the street, corners ok . This is a tough tire as the lugs were not torn off with a lot of spinning. Lasted about 3K miles; 60/40 dirt/street at 20 Psi. Replaced with another 606. Would not recommend for mostly street riding if you corner hard.

Great tire, Great price

It is like having a different bike. 10 miles into the ride these tires transformed my DRZ400S into a true off road bike. No more slipping and sliding on the crappy factory tires. These are great! The price was 1/2 that of the local Suzuki dealer for the same tire!

Aggressive

This sure is a nice tire. I bought the 120/90-18 for the front of my Dad's TW200. The tire is very aggressive looking. It mounted up with some effort, but was very doable. I love the tread pattern.

Fantastic tire

Great tire. Superior to the Kenda tires they replaced. Very quiet (relatively speaking) on the highway. Highly recommend them.

Very aggressive tread, great traction on all off road surfaces, a bit too aggressive for spirited on road performance but manageable.

Rubicon Trail Tested

Back in 2005, I purchased 5 sets of 606's for my Dual Sported 01 XR400 after wearing out a couple of sets of MT 21's. No comparison!! The Dunlops are awesome dirt/street tires. I have run this bike through the Rubicon and all over the central sierra and the 606's never give it up. Avg. mileage is 3000 on the rear and 4000 on the front. My street time is usually spent with buds on BMW RT's and some sport bikes. Unless they’re really going after it, Nobody has to wait for me!! Just buy them and be happy!!

Dunlop 606 dual sport tires.

I've been riding dual sport bikes from 1986 till now. I tried many brands of dual sport tires. I recommend the Dunlop 606's for street and trail. Very predictable on the road and wear very well. They also hook up good on dirt. I run about 18lbs air for best handling on or off the road.
