Good tires

I'm running 606's front and rear.. A lot of sand in my area and these tires are working good for me. Also been good in the mud and hard pack. Very pleased with the road performance . Found they worked well at 15 psi front and rear on my drz 400s. They had much less sing at speeds over 50 mph with this pressure, then running higher road pressure and still flex enough off road without worry of a pinched tube or damaged rim on a root or rock. There also wearing well. Don't think you can go wrong with these.

Great tire

Burned thru my first tire in about 5000 miles of rocks, roots, mud, and pavement. Off-road it performed just as I hoped, but I was really surprised how well it work on the road. They make noise and they vibrate some but that's what you get with a knobby tire. This is on a Drz400s.

Awesome Price

First of all Superstore had the best price by far. The tire showed up earlier than promised. I've only been able to ride on it once and so far it's a great tire. It handles really well off road. I will be a long time Superstore customer.

Great in the Dirt

I bought these tires in order to make my Yamaha WR450F street legal. I have ridden multiple times in mud, dirt and sand and the tires work very well. I cannot speak to their on road performance since I am still waiting on the DMV paperwork required for my tag.

606, Good Front tire

I put this tire on the front of my KTM 950 Super Enduro to replace the 908RR which was a terrible front tire that would not track at speeds over 50mph. The 606 is a good combo with the 908RR rear. On the pavement it tracks fairly well and off road in loose gravel, rocks, and sand it does a decent job. So if you're looking for a DOT knobby, then this is a combination that will take you down the pavement to your favorite trail and back. On the 950 SE, it does appear it will wear a little fast.

Best Tire For Me

This is my 4th set of D606's for my KLR650. They are good on the road and great off highway. I get about 3,500 miles per set, about the same as more street-oriented tires, but they are far better on dirt.

Dunlop 606 front tire

Great tire this is the 3rd one I put on my KTM 950 Super Enduro. I ride about 60% dirt/gravel and the tire holds the weight of the big bike well. They do good on the street for me too. Thanks Motorcycle Superstore, I will be ordering more of these.

KLR 650 Front Only

Put this on my KLR 650 and man do these have good off road traction! Haven't made it down to the river in the sand yet but loose dirt/mud is great. I am running a Metzler MCE Karoo on the rear. Together they are a loud combo on the road, but I love the mud tire hum. Hardest dirt front tire to install ever, but worth it for the tougher lugs.

Huge upgrade for mid-weight dual sport bike

I am running this tire on my 2012 F800 GS. I trashed my front rim during my first season on the bike, so had Woody's build a new front with 1.65"x21" A60 (improved, strengthened version of the Excel rim). I ride very aggressively on rough FS gravel and BLM dirt (poorly maintained) with full loads. The improvement in grip and front end control is HUGE over the TKC80 and Karoo T tires I was running previously. And this tire is REASONABLY PRICED. Almost too good to be true, but it is true. I rode this thing HARD and still got nearly 6000 miles. Also I just changed it myself in the garage and they are easy to mount and unmount, even without tire lubricant (because that is how you need to change a tire while on a trip). That's an added bonus. I leave all my friends in the dust, and they are good riders. The rougher and looser the surface, the better this tire works. CAUTION- I do not ride this big heavy bike in mud, (by choice), so I can't speak to its performance in mud. The only trade off is a bit limited in confidence on pavement, but I hate riding on pavement so this is a non-issue for me. I use the ultra-heavy duty (4mm thick) Michelin tube, and have never had a flat tire. I think you will love this tire if you like riding on loose surfaces with mid weight dual sport bikes.

D606 works great!

I've been running D606s on my DRZ for 10 years of trail riding. They hold up great in the Phoenix desert and also work nicely in the forest of Flagstaff. I ride 95% off road but it's nice to have a street legal tire when you need it..

Dunlop 606

I have purchased about six 606's over the years & think they can't be beat for mostly dirt & gravel. If you spend more time on the road than dirt you may want to consider the Continental TKC 80 for the rear & 606 in front. That is a great pair that hugs the road yet can get through the tough stuff OK. THAT BEING SAID I am going back to 606's frt & rr because I ride a lot of dirt & gravel. The TKC's probably last twice as long. Happy Trails!

Dunlop 606 front and rear

An all around great tire. I had no problems with it on or off road until I wore it out and then it still managed some snow, mud, gravel and pavement without putting the dirty side up. I'm on my second set.

It's a knobby; what do you expect?

Wears like most knobbys but I run it on the front of my KLR650 so the wear isn't too bad. I prefer the knobs for off-roading. Wears faster on the highway but I don't mind the trade-off.
