No washouts

I used a AC10 last year for LABV 2015, switched to a Scorpion for this year's ... much better traction in the sand and dirt. It gets a little wobbly at fwy speeds, but this tire is made for off road... and occasional streets... Your best off having a set of these for off road and switch to the AC10 for streets... its thats your main riding.... Great tire... will buy again.

Great tire for Tubliss system

This tire works well in the dirt at 6-7 psi and also wears well. I ride off-road events in Northern Cal. and Nevada on a 300 KTM and have not had a flat. For the price and quality it can't be beat.

Great Tire

This is my second purchase of this tire. I have it mounted on my 2014 KTM 300 xc/w with the Tubliss system. Great wear, good traction, and a nice stiff sidewall. I ride 25 to 30 off-road events each year (desert, cross-country, enduro) and this tire hasn't let me down as it resists flats better than any I've tried.

Great tire

I ride my 2007 KTM 525 EXC very little on the rode so these tires are great. Very stable in the turns and work well in the desert or mountains.

Side knobs ripping off

The tire has performed well BUT only 5 rides ( max 20 hours ) on this front tire and about 50% of the side knobs have ripped off in random groupings. Riding is mostly on gravel logging roads and some shale rough terrain but 100% off road on my WR450. The center knobs are wearing normally so its strange that the sides have taken such a beating. I could see that happening on the rear from HP in rocky conditions, but a front tire?

First try

Just got this front tire and went to ride where there is a lot of mud ponds and big rocky hills and the control was fantastic. I don't know about the durability yet. As mentioned on other reviews, on the road, above 70-80mph, the front end has the parkinson, but I don't know if it's because the tire is new. Costs more than I usually pay for a front tire, but the control I have with it is worth it.

Would liked to have mounted it, but...

Having read a review about this tire being hard to mount, specifically, getting the bead to seat, I thought that person must have been seriously joking. Well, they were right. I tried over and over using correct techniques and couldn't get it to seat. Yes, the tire size was correct. 90/90-120. Tire price was great and they look aggressive and tough but, again, I'm stuck with a useless tire.

Great tire

We ride in loose dirt and sand with some hard packed area's. This tire is EXCELLENT for these conditions. Self cleaning and tracks well thru sand. Will buy another.

Best Tire yet

By far the best tire I have used for off road. I have it on a ktm 640 lc4. It slides a bit on pavement, but pavement is only about 5% for this bike, and it is predictable. Most of my riding is in very loose cinder. If you think you don't like sandy trails, this tire will change your mind.

Great tires

These tires are great DS tires for all around work on a variety of terrain. They get astonishing mileage considering they are really knobbies. They shake a little when you take off and make some sound as you slow down ,like their competitors. They are better in mud and loose dirt than a D606 front and are really pretty good when pressed hard on asphalt. This is my third set of these tires. I give them 2 thumbs up.these go over 3500 miles on a 400 size bike!

Pirelli Scorpion Pro All Terrain/Enduro Front Tire

Works great in the dry dirt, packs up hardcore in mud and as mentioned above, acts erratic on those concrete highway rain groove...involuntarily pulling your front end left and right. White knuckle scary, but manageable.

Good tire on road and dirt. Hooked up well in the rain also. Good all-around dual sport front tire for my XR 650 L.

fun in the dirt, NOT ON THE ROAD

I've never had a problem with these in the dirt, and they were a huge upgrade in dirt performance from the oem Trailwings or whatever they are called. However, the Trailwings were capable of hitting 100mph on the road without a hiccup. These Pirellis CANNOT. Approaching around 70mph, I get a crazy death shake on my front end. There is no way to halt the shake unless you slow down, the faster you go, the harder it is to control. It's actually pretty damn scary. Tires were installed correctly, I thought I jacked something up and took it to the shop, they said ' that’s just how the tires are'? These tires still have a lot left in ‘em, but I'm going to be replacing them with something a lot more road worthy.
