MC-5

My Dunlop was waisted and the Metzler was on sale. Good tire over all. So far out performs the old Dunlop. Can't tell on longevity yet but ran some gnarly trails with both rock and sand and didn't loose a knob. About 70 miles so far. Traction was good as well as feel. Bought the rear matching tire and am happy so far.

Metzeler MC 5 Front tire

When I was racing in the late seventies and early eighties the Metzeler tire was THE tire to use and as far as I can tell it still is.

Metzeler - MC 5 Intermediate

Always been a Dunlop user but decided to give this tire a try. Holds up well on my 1999 YZ400F,This is not one of the better cornering bikes out there but this tire seems to be as good as the intermediate Dunlop choice the 739FA.It was also cheaper to buy at the time of purchase.
