what a tire.

tire grips really good in loose slate rocky areas, been riding it for almost a month now an tire shows hardly no wear or cuts / chunks gone. Great tire for the price, can’t beat it.

Great intermediate to hard terrain tire, get the Dunlop MX51 for more diverse riding

Great tire for hard rocky trails like Baja. I have 800 miles on it and it is about 40% worn and no chunking. I will replace it with the Dunlop MX51. The Dunlop has fewer knobs and is a better tire for the diverse terrain I now ride on. So if you ride mostly hard pack and the highway this is a great tire. If you ride widely diverse terrain then I recommend the MX51 since overall it hooks up better and last just about as long. I ride an XR400.

Worked well for me

I'm new to dirt biking, so I don't have much to compare it too, but it seems to work great to me.

What a difference

I was riding enduro tires on my KLX250 and having a pretty bad time. A friend made an offhand comment about how much better I would ride with real dirt tires that were made for the terrain that we ride on. Truthfully all the tires looked the same to me enduro and off road tires. I got the MaxCross-IT and can’t overstate the difference in the bikes performance and mine too. Best modification that I have made to the bike yet.

Nice for the trails

I ride a Kawasaki klx110 and this tire is perfect for me. It really grabs in the sand, ruts, mud, and on the roots and rocky hills. Tread life is great too. Recommend.

Best desert/rocky terrain tire

Used this tire for past 5 years and havent found anything better that works in our rocky desert terrain. Tire lasts long and doesn't chunk apart like other dirt tires. Highly recommend.

Maxxis excellent tire

I have a husky 450TE with these tires. They are excellent on any type of terrain including mud.

My second one

I'm on my second one of these tires on my XR250R. I ride high desert type terrain; rocky, some sand. I'm happy with the performance.

great mx tire

I ride in mixed terrains from loose loamy dirt to hard and this tire is great. This tire is great in the corners, gets you out the corners fast. The tire holds up really well. Bottom line I would recommend this tire to anyone.

Maxcross

Pulls like a somb*tch through crawfish ponds, rice fields, anything you'll throw at it. Only complaint is that the knobs rounded off after a month on a crf150f and I only weigh 130 lbs.

Great all around trail tire

This tire has performed quite adequately, like other reviews said this tire lasts forever and actually gets a little better as it wears in. I have ridden on the mx51 geomax which is a great tire with awesome traction but does not last nearly as long. So for the weekend trail rider this tire is perfect, you get nice traction with a long life. Highly recommended.
