Great

Got this tire for my ttr230, it's great for mud, dirt, and all terrain, I suggest this tire for any bike. Took a little while to put it on, but worth it.

amazing

I've had some pretty bad tires and I usually ride in thick mud to solid dirt to wet grass to gravel one after another and it handled great all the way through.

Bought it for my grandsons bike. He rides hard pack, mostly. Works great for him. Went on the rim ok. Wasn't difficult to mount.

Great but HARD to spoon!

You'll love this tire, once you get it on. Two grown men with tire soap could NOT get this tire off. I kid you not. I've installed/removed 100 tires and we couldnt get this off without fear of breaking the rim. 1 of my 3 spoons already put a nice 1 or 2mm gouge in the rim trying to get it off. Not hating, the tire is GREAT for soft and intermediate. Think sand with some rock sections. High desert type riding. If you're not a tire whiz I'd advise you have this put on and removed, by the shop where they wont pinch your tube.

My second one

I'm on my second one of these tires on my XR250R. I ride high desert type terrain; rocky, some sand. I'm happy with the performance.

Maxxis excellent tire

I have a husky 450TE with these tires. They are excellent on any type of terrain including mud.

Maxcross

Pulls like a somb*tch through crawfish ponds, rice fields, anything you'll throw at it. Only complaint is that the knobs rounded off after a month on a crf150f and I only weigh 130 lbs.

Great all around trail tire

This tire has performed quite adequately, like other reviews said this tire lasts forever and actually gets a little better as it wears in. I have ridden on the mx51 geomax which is a great tire with awesome traction but does not last nearly as long. So for the weekend trail rider this tire is perfect, you get nice traction with a long life. Highly recommended.

Great tire!!!

The AMA west series starter in Goodyear, Az was odd mix of desert, mx and minor enduro. Very minor. This tire performed above and beyond. I've tried mx 71, 51 the Michelin starcross (another absolute favorite) and sedona desert crap tire. My choices are Starcross for hi traction. It loves the mx track and softer dirt of the mountains. This tire for the rotted quartz, skree and desert runs.

Best desert/rocky terrain tire

Used this tire for past 5 years and havent found anything better that works in our rocky desert terrain. Tire lasts long and doesn't chunk apart like other dirt tires. Highly recommend.

Nice for the trails

I ride a Kawasaki klx110 and this tire is perfect for me. It really grabs in the sand, ruts, mud, and on the roots and rocky hills. Tread life is great too. Recommend.
