I'm impressed at the cornering, traction, and stability of these new tires versus the old ones, and I'm a relatively new rider. That should say something, at least.
The rain season's just started here, and so far, so good. I can't rate the tread life yet, but again: so far, so good.
These are great tires, especially for the cost. I was surprised at how deep the tread grooves are. They should last a long time and be pretty good in the rain as well.
Running them on an Elite 250. These are a huge upgrade over the stock Dunlops that wandered all over and were not confidence inspiring.
The scooter feels much more stable in corners, tracks straight and doesnt wander. The limiting factor in corners for me now is dragging the center stand on the ground.
I bought these partially on the good reviews, and partially on my stellar experiences with Michelin, and I was not disappointed.
Mounted front and rear on a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250. Far superior stability, cornering, and dry traction than the OEM Dunlop K630 tires the Avon replaced.
Can't rate the wet traction as I haven't ridden in the rain yet with these tires. Can't rate tread life as they've only been on the bike for about a month.
Replaced the original Bridgestone tires with Avons on an 09 Honda Silverwing Scooter with 7000 miles on the odometer. The tires were mounted and balanced at the local Honda dealer, I removed and installed the wheels. I removed my hands from the handle bars to zip up my jacket at about 35mph "yea I know" and the front end immediately wobbled. With both hands hanging on it's nice and stable. Is it the front tire, maybe. See Quincy with the Burgman coment. Don't know about tread life or wet handling.
