High Quality low price

This is my second time I purchased this tire for my heavily modified pw80, the last one served me grate use for 4 years of abusive all terrain riding. The tread pattern works grate in sand, mud and wears very slow.the side walls are pretty tough and withstand being driven flat multiple times in the event of a popped tube. overall this tire is so grate you will buy a second one.

Best tire ever!

Put this beast on my 2012 yz 250 if you want traction this is it I ride muddy soft single track and hill climbs this thing dosent stop grabbing. I can now go up hill climbs in the rain that I've never made before it literally tries to stall your bike there's so much traction. I will never buy a different rear tire.

Great grip in deep sand!

I normally run the Dunlop Geomax AT81which a great long lasting tire (900 miles easy) I though I would try the IRC after reading a review where it was the best soft terrain tire. Well after 60 miles off road in lots of deep sand and hard pack, pushing as hard as my WR250R would let me, I'd say this is the best off road tire I've had in deep sand - it felt like I had paddles which I guess is no surprise as the these are biggest knobs I've ever seen. Only down side is I can see a lot of wear even in the little riding I've done - I hope I can get at least 500miles out of them. Note: I got a 130 width and it is less wide than most 120's I've used.

TRAAAAACTION!

Great tire! Massive amounts of traction! I put a 120/80/18 on my 08' KTM 450 xcf and it has performed great. This tire hooks up great, I will be ordering more when this one wears out. Three rides so far in fairly soft terrain and tire is looking great.

Best all around tire

Have been using the M5B for over 10 years. I find it to be a great all around tire. A little slick on hard pack, but pays off in the mud, sand, and hill climbs. Other tires dont even come close. Great wear, have never had a flat. Pair the M5B with a Dunlop S12 front, and you have the ultimate set up! (Giving away my secret lol) By the way...dont directly follow anyone using a M5B as you will get pelted by golf ball sized rocks...seriously. The 140 is quite large, I suggest using only for 500cc or larger, they have so much grip, a 450 has a hard time pushing it.

Follow up on my previous 140/80 review

After the Mojave ride, I did the LAB2V (500 miles) + approx 800 miles through death valley, China Lake, and back to Palmdale. The tire was great. Its pretty much worn out, but no major chunking and it held up fine at 9 or 10 psi (I use 2 rim locks). I raised my cost benefit rating this time.

worth the money

This is an excellent soft terrain tire, a little pricey but you know where your money goes once you ride with it. It shines on fresh tilled and sandy moto tracks, and fresh over watered or early morning motos where the track is basically loamy and muddy, it even works decent in a dunes type enviroment. I havent had it on the trails or blue groove so im not sure how it crosses over. I paired it with a michelin s12 front and this is my new favorite sandy/mud tire combo.

130/80-18 Hooks up great

Fantastic tire. Hooks up better then anything I have tried (MT16, MX51, M404). I ride a lot of everything. Creek crossings, a little mud, ton of rocks, tons of steep hills, dryslick and loose rock, and even a little slickrock. Nothing but great traction. Fantastic wear too. Better then the others I mentioned.

140/80 is Humongous

Just did approx. 400 miles in the Mojave Desert with this tire on a 530 EXCR and was pretty impressed. The large knobs did great in the sand washes. I took it easy in the rocks and gravel, and there are no cuts or chunks in the tread. The 140/80 is huge and will affect your gearing, but it did not rub anywhere.

this tire makes you bike come alive!

This tire clean itself out really well. Also it grabs really really good at even an idle just going super slow or if you are full throttle which is funnnn! I ride mostly on trails and muddy fields where the cows have been and it goes amazingly well. And one of my friends are going to buy a set of these tires because he liked mine sooo much. Hope this helps.. :D :D This tire makes your bike come alive. Only had this tire for two weeks so I don't know about the Durability of it yet.
