Good product but hollow nose rivet adapter cracked on back side

Not sure but an afterthought was adjusting the back pin to support the rivet head may support and prevent from crack the back side of bearing? Instruction did not support this theory.

Watch Alignment

The tool worked well for breaking a Renthal O-Ring chain. I'm glad I read the instructions and reviews closely and carefully aligned all pieces before breaking. Otherwise I can see how press pins could be broken or bent. It is a bit tough to see alignment so you have to "feel it" Don't force it. Received one day in advance of when promised!

Broke

I used it to install a couple of chains and it worked fine, but when I tried to break a chain, the tool broke. Bummer

Works as advertised

Worked just like review said it would. Wish I could have waited for the current sale though. Mean while my chain is together and I`m back riding in no time.

My first chain tool kit

I didn't really know what to look for when making this choice, so I just listened to most of the reviews, and then went for a product priced sort of in the upwards middle of the price range segment. No regrets about this tool whatsoever. It did the job perfectly.

Works if you pay attention

Great "all in one" tool! One must be careful in placing the pins/plates properly, but otherwise, it is a great tool. Took it along on the TAT from Colorado to Oregon. It was heavy, and not needed, but didnt want to leave without it. Shipped ridiculously quick, like everything I get from Moto Superstore!

Doesn't Rivet Well

Breaks well, but does a very bad job of pressing and riveting. There is misalignment in these modes, making it hard to get the plate on, and it produces a completely unacceptable, distorted flare on the rivet. With this tool it is uncertain how far to press the plate on. It is very, very easy to press it on too far and bind up the link. All these problems were solved by the DID chain tool, but I like this one better for chain breaking.
