Item Description

Two Brothers Racing M-Series Stainless Steel Complete Exhaust System

Add horsepower and drop weight with the high performance Two Brothers M-2 exhaust system! Featuring Two Brother’s unique V.A.L.E. ™ System, the M-2 eliminates the need for exhaust springs resulting in a more secure mounting. From power to sound and the all-important look, the M-2 is the complete package for the street bike rider!

Features:
  • Small, vertical, oval canister (4.85”H x 3.75”W) is available with an aluminum high-polish finish, black carbon fiber (filament wound) or natural titanium matte-grey color
  • 2.25” stainless steel, power core
  • Packing consists of a first stage (stainless steel wool) and a second stage (high-temperature fiberglass)
  • Comes with a billet, anodized, aluminum-inlet endcap
  • Teflon coated, die-cast, magnesium-outlet endcap
Polished Aluminum

Aluminum is a lightweight and strong material used extensively in the aerospace, automotive, and of course, motorcycle industries. Aluminum is a wise choice due to its excellent strength to weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and clean look. We use lightweight thin-wall .060” extruded 6061 aluminum alloy that is heat treated to a T-6 condition for increased strength, durability, hardness, and finish hold. After the aluminum has been heat treated, it is cut to length and given a mirror polished finish. Ounce for ounce, aluminum is the best value of all the M and C series mufflers. As a rule the aluminum mufflers weigh about 8.3oz. more than Titanium or Carbon Fiber mufflers.

Carbon Fiber

Two Brothers has been using Carbon Fiber in motorcycle mufflers since 1992. They are currently the only US Company to exclusively use Filament Wound Carbon Fiber (FWCF) on every carbon fiber muffler they sell. They draw on only the best high temperature resins, and control a proprietary lining system adopted from spacecraft, for additional heat resistance. The FWCF is continuously wound over a precision machined mandrel for a 100% seamless bond. The FWCF tube is then cured in a high temperature autoclave oven for superior strength and heat resistance. These crucial elements meld to form a precision lightweight muffler that will perform as well as it looks.

Titanium

By weight titanium is one of the world’s strongest readily available metals, making it ideal for the M series mufflers. It is 45% lighter than steel with comparable strength, and twice as strong as aluminum while being only 60% heavier. That’s right, titanium is HEAVIER than aluminum, but since it is twice as strong they are able to use very thin (.024”) material to construct the Titanium muffler. The result is a muffler that is about 8.30z lighter than the M or C series aluminum mufflers. Titanium has become an industry standard for motorcycle mufflers due to its durability, corrosion resistance, light weight, and factory look.

Easy install, took about an hour and a half, very loud and light, bigger kick, sounds crisp, GREAT EXHAUST!!! PC-V on the way, let's see how that works with the exhaust.

Light, loud, and loud!

Now I HAVE to wear ear plugs, and my cheap helmet resonates if I am around 3-4.5k RPMs. Cops stare, but it's legal as far as I know! It sounds WAY better on startup than the stock set up did, deeper and throatier, little bit of a buzz when compression braking. I like it, but may get one of those tips so my ears aren't ringing when I get to work! Also, feels like the power comes on a tad lower too. I rarely bounce it off the rev limiter, but that sounds and feels different too!

Installed the carbon fiber full system on my Orange/Black '09 R6 and it just brings it to life compared to stock. I would recommend The PCV + Two Bros full (Caron) + K&N for all of you R6 riders.

Worth every penny for your R6

Fit is great but once I installed and rode, the exhaust pipes really started to look nasty. They were discoloring in only three days and now are the topic of conversation wherever I go.

I installed this full exhaust on my brand new ZX-6R after getting used to the bike for a while and I was amazed at how you could actually feel the difference in the power of the bike. After riding around for a couple days with the exhaust I finally decided that it was really too loud so I decided to buy the power tip for it. The tip is a definite recommended accessory, with it, this system is perfect. The install was completed by myself and only took about 3 hours to complete with the fender eliminator. 100% recommended exhaust system.

I put it on my 2009 R6. Power is great specially with the power commander, gytr air filter and 520 kit. Great product. Recommend big time.

It took me a few hours to put the exhaust on, but overall well worth the time. Noticeable difference in power and helps the bike perform flawlessly without having the huge stock POS exhaust. Get one while you can.
