dave cacioppo chicago,  IL michelin pilot city urban scooter tire I purchased 120/70-12 front and 130-70/12 rear to replace the 4.00-12 cheapo tires on my Chinese Tank 150cc touring scooter and all I can say is WOW what a difference. Even though the Michelins are a lower profile than the fat oem tires, they have more thread and less side wall and the scooter stops on a dime with no squirreling or hunting now and it tracks like a panther. Rain is no longer a danger and when I brake.... I BRAKE! I might have gone a size up but was concerned with wheel clearance (unduly) now the scooter sits lower and I don’t have enough lean to use the side stand. with the marked improvement in performance I can live with using the center stand only but if you are considering this change have a pro measure your wheel area for clearance and go a tad bigger. Once again superstore techs converted tire size in seconds and the tires arrived in 3 days. This is my 6th purchase from them and I have had nothing but 100% satisfaction

After my fourth set of tires in just over two years (The worst luck imaginable) I’ve found what seems to be a MIRACLE CURE for my GT200L (actually I never knew it was ill). Liking the Michelins I decided to go with the PILOT CITY. OH, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It’s as if I’m riding a completely different scooter.

Lee Blake Danville,  CA Great tire for a 2006 Vespa 250ie Installed these tires to replace the Pilot Sport model. Went up one size F/R from 120/130 to 130/140 and the scooter rides and handles much better. Looks better too. Round profile makes cornering very predictable and they handle wet roads very well. Also, pretty much solved the "head shake" problem most of these scooters have. Can't rate the tire for mileage yet; only 1,000 miles so far. Make sure you get the right F/R combo if you upsize; 62P & 60P.

Greg Baltimore,  MD Best tire ever The first time out on these tires, I got caught in a major torrential downpour, and had no moments where I felt my traction was in jeopardy. Braking is improved, cornering is improved, and wet weather traction is impeccable. Yes, I do only get about 4k miles out of a rear, but I have yet to find a scooter tire that lasts any longer whose performance is even close to this tire. I value traction over longevity. I have installed hundreds of these tires on my customers' bikes, and they all return with glowing reviews.
