Jim Louisburg,  KS only 500 miles so far I was surprised at the direction of the tread for the front supposedly it was engineered to work with the rear and assist in stabilizing the ride, if so I haven't noticed since I have always thought that the people 250 S Kymco scooter it fits is very stable and smooth. I previously had Kenda tires on the bike, I was showing some wear especially on the rear after 8000 miles. which is pretty good since I drive two miles every day on gravel or macadam. The first thing that I noticed about the Michelin tires was that they exhibited increased road noise they rode pretty smooth but there was an increase in the amount of noise that they generated, I have to wonder if a lot of it has to do with the way the front tire's tread is opposite the rear? the wet braking is possibly a bit less than the Kenda tire and the dry seems even with the Kenda. I really feel that it takes 3000 miles to see just how a tire will really perform. My ratings were a bit cagey since I have not had much time to really get a feel for the tires yet.

Tom Still Wayland,  MA they look new Michelin Gold Standards on my 2006 X9 500. They looked new after 6000 miles, and they are still going well after 9300.Turn, stop, accelerate, balance delightful.X9 500 is not made anymore, but I surely hope these tires are.

Langley Rockville,  MD Michelin - Gold Standard Touring Front Scooter Tire These tires have received the highest ratings, and on everything except durability, I can honestly say they have exceeded my expectations. They probably will also do so in durability but I just put them on about 400 miles ago (so far, so good!) So, I'm trying to remain objective on that until I get a better idea. The tires make my Kymco Xciting 500 ride like silk on asphalt. I drove them 70 mph in rain on I-64 and the bike felt totally planted! And they look great on the bike! NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL!!

Mick San Antonio,  TX Michelin Gold Standard Tire I've used the Michelin Gold Standard Tire on my Piaggio X9 500 Evo scooter for several years. This tire has excellent handling. I run it with 35 lbs of air and this tire has the best wear / mileage of any tire I've used.

Peter Orlando,  MO Great tires I replaced the tires on my Piaggio BV 200 with a set of these which were half the price of the Pirelli's. They ride great, and were a perfect match. If you have this scooter, buy these tires for a more inexpensive tire change.
