2001 Buell Blast-HAPPY!!!!

I put these on my 01 Blast after using the Pirelli MT75 (rear) that lasted just over 2500 miles. I have already put 1000 miles on them and they look good for another 3-4k. They handle the rain really well and are just as good as the Pirelli in dry conditions. I'll try the 140/70/16 for the rear next time. But well worth the money!!!!!

Really good tire. I'm pleased to have gotten 6k out of them on the rear of my Reflex. Heavy bike, goes thru rear tires hard.

Have them now. 8,000 miles and plenty of life still on them. Purchased now to get shipping with another item.

I replaced a gold standard on my mp3 400 at 5500 miles. I just passed 10500 and the tire is now locking up and sliding under moderate breaking. All in all it's a good tire but I'd like to get more than 5000 miles on it. That said I'm ordering a second one today.

Unexpected tread life. This is my second Michelin rear tire for my Vespa GT200. Before this, I replaced the rear tire three times using two different brands in 12,000 miles, averaging (pushing) to get 4,000 miles between replacements. I presently have over 29,400 miles on my Vespa. I got more than 12,000 miles on my first Michelin tire. The ride is smooth, the traction is good. The tire wears well.

So far so good. Haven't put a lot of miles on the tire yet, but I do notice that it grips the road really well.

I have only had this tire mounted for a couple of weeks and so far seems OK will re-rate in a few thousand miles. This tire is replacing the old Michelin gold standard which was a pretty good tire a medium hard compound that wore well and handled quite well. I hope to equal the ten thousand miles I have been getting from the gold standard minus punctures.

Overall, I really like this tire. This is the second one on my Mp3 500, and it seems from the previous one I can expect around 6000 milles out of it. Since it is the only tire I've used, I can't really rate it objectively, as I do not have prior tire experience to compare it against.

I have had good luck with all my Michelin tires, this one seems to be as good as the Gold Standard.
