well made--may not fit
I do not recommend these if you are using risers; or are going to travel more than 5 miles; or if you are hauling a heavy (greater than 400 pounds) motorcycle. Too much stress on the handle bar to use alone. Recommend use of supplemental straps. Too small for stock handle bars on Yamaha VStar 1100 and Honda VTX 1300.

Canyon Dancer - Bar Harness
This item is the best specialty item to use in conjunction with normal strap tie downs when transporting your motorcycle. It will keep other tie down straps from scratching any metal through the normal vibrations while moving on the trailer or on the back of a pickup truck. Because my Yamaha FJR has a lot of front faring, it was difficult to even find a way to stabilize the bike except using the gas tank or handlebars. This solved the problem. Great product.

Canyon Dancer Bar Harness- You Can't Live Without One!
If you ever pull a motorcycle on a trailer you can not live without one. It keeps from putting pressure from tie downs off plastic and other important parts. I bought one years ago for my sportbike and now we own a motorcycle business and have bought several. This is one of the simplest made, best investments you'll ever make. I strongly recommend buying one or two or more.

perfect for putting a bike on your truck
I’ve bought 1 bike, which this has been used on, it just goes through the 2 sleeves and anchors itself to the edges of my truck with tie downs. Gave it to my friend when he bought his bike, worked perfectly. Just don’t forget to buy 2 tie downs.
