Canyon Dancer Bar Harness
I've only used it once so far to secure my bike to transport, it's very easy to use, quick, and doesn’t damage bike finish.

I used it on my 2003 Kawasaki Concours to get the tie-downs to clear the bodywork. My bars have risers, bar-end cruise and soft grips. Canyon Dancer works perfectly. I used the older version with the soft ends, it squeezed and rolled up my grips. This style has hard cups to fit over the bar ends. No issue with grips, etc. Fully recommend...

Excellent way to transport your bike. I have used it several times already on 3 different bikes with my cruiser weighing in at 800 lbs and this harness works great.

Canyon Dancer - Bar Harness II
I bought the Bar Harness II to bring my new bike home from the dealer in Portland, a hundred mile trip, in my utility trailer. The Bar Harness seemed well built, was easy to use and worked perfectly. I put an old sock over each hand grip to protect the grips from any chafe. My bike is a large scooter (lots of fairing) so I don't know how I could have secured the front end without the Harness. It's a good piece of equipment. I recommend it.

They work well didn't scratch my bar ends and the short works very well for a 2008 CBR 600RR.

Works Great!
I really like this bar harness. Does an excellent job in securing the front of the bike without interfering with the windshield. I padded the inside of the plastic cups with a microfiber towel to provide a tight fit and to protect the grips. Easy to install.

Worked as advertised no problem
I have an 07 Kawasaki ZX6R with Vortex clip-ons. I measured the length between the bar-ends and as a result ended up getting the "short" size CDBH2. Which ended up being perfect. At the recommendation of some folks online I used a pair of ankle socks over the clip-ons (because I run foam over-grips) underneath the harness cups. This allowed them to rotate freely and not pull on the throttle. These held the bike perfectly securely in conjunction with the locking front wheel chock in our borrowed trailer. They did squish my grips a little BUT there was no damage done (closed-cell foam so they un-squished after being out of the harness for a few hours). Definitely recommended.

Great product
this is a great product, have seen the first one in use several times but i just did not like the fact that it could break the plastic throttle, but I would not recommend this one too people with cheap bar ends cause it will bend them, but on my 08 10r it has solid bar ends so no worries for me!

Canyon Dancer II
I'm fairly sure my brother has the Canyon Dancer I
and I had no complaints using it but when I decided
to get my own sportbike/scooter harness, I went with
the Canyon Dancer II just because I figured they would
not purposely make a new version that worked less well.
After sampling it on two of my naked bikes and two scooters,
I would say it works great and is an improvement over the
version I. I had already read online criticisms of the two
plastic-like cups scratching bar-end weights, so I just stuck
a sock anklet in each upon the first use. No issues with
scratching. This newer version seems easier/faster to
attach, maybe less to adjust or something. Very easy.
I hope they engineered those cups to withstand anything
just because with a webbed harness, you kind of figure
the thing will never simply snap unexpectedly without
warning. But I figure they erred on the side of caution
and my concerns are likely unwarranted. All in all, I am
very happy with the Canyon Dancer II, its price, and Motorcycle Superstore's timely delivery of it.

Canyon Dancer Bar Harness
This is a great product as long as you understand the do's and dont's of using it. A cotton hand towel over each hand grip before installing the Bar Harness will do a good job of protecting the hand grips. Take care in understanding your motorcycle manufacturer recommendations for securing your specific motorcycle when hauling. I pull the front forks down tight when hauling. Upon arrival I release most down force to allow the front forks to relax. I believe that doing so will minimize potential damage from compressing the front forks for long periods of time. Overall I think this is a very good product.

We bought 2 to help in stabilizing two 150cc scooters in the bed of our F150 pickup truck when transporting them. We could not have asked for a more perfect fit! Combined with ratchet straps, the time taken for securing the scooters has dropped 3-fold. The handle bars are protected and the scooters don't move. The quality of this product is top notch.

Work great hold the bike tight as can be, just make sure you don't make the straps to tight. They bent my bar ends and made my throttle stick

This works great as advertised. Put half a sock in the cuff to save your bar ends and don't tighten your straps down too tight. I bent my handlebars the first time I used it :(. Works real well.

Canyon Dancer - Bar Harness II - Works Great
Wasn't sure how the cup ends would be on the grips, once I strapped my bike down to the truck it stands solid as a rock! Just needed to put a piece of rag around the grips to take up the gap for the cup size, no big deal. Super easy and fast to use. No more straps pulling on my fairings. Motorcycle Superstore pulled through on another fine product!!

This sounded like a great product. I have a Suzuki C90T cruiser. I put this product on my bike. After I removed it, I found that it bent the ends of my handles. I got luck and this did not affect my throttle, but I am sure if I had used it after that there would have been more damage. The cost to repair the damage is going to be more than the harness. I believe the canyon 1 would have been a better choice, because one of the other guys had one and it worked well. Just be aware.

What a great item!
The canyon dancer two tie-downs blow the first canyon dancer tie-downs out of the water. These are faster to put on your bike and won't cause any damage to your bike, unlike the first set. The only problem I found is that they will scratch up your bar ends, no biggie though, just put a soft towel in the end before placing them on your bars.

Canyon Dancer Bar harness, Great for securing bike on trailer or truck bed
Just finished a trip from Upstate NY to southern UT. 3 Bikes, one in truck bed, 2 on open Utility trailer. Bar harnesses worked great. Pay attention to sizes and your bar width. Could not have been easier to use. Durable construction and quality materials. Made the trip and securing all bikes easy. 2 BMW GS's one Honda VFR.

Met a need nothing else did
I have an enclosed trailer that I use primarily for storage at the beach like a garage. I use a stand but like to tie my Harley down so that if someone moves trailer for some reason the bike will not get trashed. Easy to do on Harley but not easy when I got BMW R1200RT, nowhere to attach straps. The Canyon Dancer works perfectly, easy to hookup and perfect for what I need. I see no reason that it would not also work for hauling the bike on a trip, very stable. Made well and not expensive.

Canyon Dancer II
This handle bar strap works as described for transporting motorcycles (I use the Canyon Dancer with a Condor wheel chock and two extra straps attached to my frame when hauling my bike just to be safe). I have previously used a friend's original Canyon Dancer and it deforms/pulls on the hand grips too much. This second generation model has rigid cups (fiberglass?) that go over your bar ends (won't work with a bike with hand guards installed) to keep your bike secure. The only thing to watch for is protecting your bar ends with something prior to installing the Canyon Dancer II (mentioned in the instructions) to prevent them from getting scratched during transportation.

It works great but I'm starting to see that it bends my handlebar grips a little. It maintains the bikes balance and support very well on a trip so for that I'm happy with it.

Simply put... A TRUE LIFE SAVER FOR TRANSPORTING A BIKE....even more so for ones with fairings. Clean, simple to use and can be easily secured by one person. Strongly recommended for those who have a show bike or move their motorcycle by trailer a lot and don't want to scuff the finish.

Canyon Dancer Bar Harness II
I don't know how this thing is going to work but I'm reasonably certain that it will. At least it's likely to save me from blowing another fork seal whist tailoring a bike. That'd be a plus. It'll certainly save a good deal of tie down time on my bike which has a rather full set of body work. Looks good as a concept so far!

Canyon bar harness II
This thing is awesome! I have only got to use it one time on my new dirt bike but it is very well constructed and will not mess up the grips like the original since it has the cups! I would recommend putting some microfiber cloth into them if you have bar ends that you would like to keep looking nice but other than the initial trying to figure those out I don't know how I went 10 months without them! I highly recommend these to anybody on the fence about any type of harness, get them and never regret your decision! Also one more thing to add, go longer on the length it's easier to slide them smaller-you can't add material to go longer!

Motorcycle Securing Made Easy
This bar harness from Canyon Dancer really makes transporting a sport bike easy. It installs quickly and the straps keep the tie downs away from the bike's plastic bodywork. The plastic cups prevent slipping or grip damage. However, the metal bar ends can be damaged by the hard plastic cups of the harness. This can be easily prevented with a piece of foam or towel wrapped around the bar end before insertion into the harness cup.

Worked Great
I was a little worried that the larger cups around the handle bar would cut into my grips once I put the bar harness II under a load but 1100 miles and 3 days later its still strapped down like I had it and not a bit of a new damage on my bike anywhere. I am relieved I could ship my bike and not worry about the fairing being damaged and still be held securely. The bar harness met and exceeded my expectations.

Great Product but plastic cups marred the weights on my handlebars
Had to trailer the BMW to Reno, some 250 miles. The hard plastic cups did a great job of keeping the tie down hooks off the fairing on my R1200RT BMW. I bought the sport model harness for bars up to 32" across but now wish I had gotten the next larger size. Tie down hooks were real close to the fairing when all was done and that made me nervous. The hard plastic cups should have some kind of coating so they do not mar the black coating on the bar weights. I even used some shop rags inside the cups but there were still some spots on the weights where the cups rubbed the black coating off.
