I was not impressed with using this product. Lining up the lock with the disc hole is not easy. At night I would expect next to impossible. There should be a marking on the side so you can line up the lock with the hole. Key doesn't always turn so easy as well.

Nice Lock
Works perfectly on my Versys. Quick & easy for extra security in my garage or when parking briefly and I don't feel like digging the cable out from under the seat. Comes with its own bag and can store under the seat or neatly in the rear zipped pocket of my Axio Tail Bag. Installs fairly easily, and the lock works well if you push the key all the way in. Looks and feels solid, and so far no paint chips. Worth the price and recommended, but be sure to buy a lock reminder, you DON'T want to start rolling with this still installed.

Handy little thing
This lock easily locks onto the disc and is fast to operate and a good level of security for cheap and without being annoying like the electronic alarms. Just don’t forget to take it off before you ride- a good buy, especially with their key registration program, it’s worth every bit.

Great lock
Works great. The lock mechanism is sticker as noted in any reviews, but it works just fine. The lock is not a long as some others so storage is much easier.

Very handy
It is a very handy tool that is easy to use. It fit into the disc without a problem and seems like a deterrent to potential mischief makers. I have used it only about a couple of times and so far, so goodl. I took the chrome one and it’s quite visible so that I don’t forget to take the lock off...the yellow should do an even better job. Maybe it should be a bit smaller and lighter and have its own carrying case. The lifetime key registration is definitely a big plus.

Very Nice Lock
Everything I would expect from Kryptonite. Durable, heavy duty and well engineered. Got it in bright yellow to further deter crooks. Two pounds of hardened steel keeping someone from rolling my baby away helps me sleep at night. My only issues include: not as secure or as solid as a length of boat chain, the lock mechanism rubber cover that prevents water damage is useless and it can be difficult to get the locking mechanism into 5.5 mm disc holes in the dark.

I bought this for some cheap added security. I don't park in a really bad area and my bike isn't high-end, so I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a security system. This lock is really solid; I swear it must weigh at least a pound. However, that weight makes the belt clip pretty pointless unless you plan on having your pants held up by a belt AND suspenders. Chrome finish looks really nice. I had some issues with the key sticking a little at first but it seems to have worked itself out. For $25 bucks it's definitely worth it. Just don't forget the reminder cable!

Does the job
This lock slips on easily and stays on. The 'tumblers' have a tendency to move around when the key isn't in so sometimes you have to align them with the key as you stick it in, not a big deal but something to be aware of. The paint is also fairly brittle. I dropped it on the ground and the paint chipped right off. If you don't' drop it and don't' forget to take it off, you're golden.

Nice Disc Lock
Great for the price and it so small you can put it in your pocket. But it's heavy and come with a belt clip but to heavy for my belt. Lock is strong, I picked yellow in color. Make sure you use the key correctly or you will think the lock is broken. Just take your time until you get use to it. I only use it when I plan to leave my Bike for some time. I mainly use at home while park in my garage."don't forget the disc lock reminder it really works". It will also stop bike for rolling just in case you forget the parking break.....Smile

This lock looks solid and add security/deterrent when you are parked. It fit right under my seat and comes with a belt clip to take along on your rides. I have not had a chance to use it but i will as soon as winter is over.

good feature
Good lock for the money; since I don’t have a high end bike I’m trying to protect (krypto rates it as upper-moderate protection). And an excellent feature is that it qualifies for krypto's "key safe" program which means that upon request they will send you two spare keys absolutely free, you don’t even have to pay for shipping. It comes with two keys, and that didn’t seem like enough, so I did the key safe right away, and it took no time to get them. Way to go, krypto, in an age where 'free' usually means it costs something.

This is a great, great design and tool. Functions really well and is easy to pack. You really need the reminder coil cable! I use this lock and the Kryptonite Chain and heavy U lock when I am worried about where I am leaving my bike and then I sleep really well.

This is a great lock for your bike. Nice and bright in yellow, easy to see. Great protection, great value, worth getting one for any bike. I feel relaxed about leaving my bike in a parking lot all day at work with this lock on it. I got the little lock reminder also, which I recommend so you don’t forget you’ve put it on there. Comes with 2 keys and I believe it to be an important item to have with your ride. A+++

Solid Product
The lock is quite sturdy and I don't see anybody being able to remove it without a whole lot of effort. The rotating lock though is a bit cumbersome and I'm not sure how durable this component will be over time. Also the key itself has such sharp edges that you can cut yourself if you’re not careful. Cost benefit is its greatest attribute.

Extra Protection
I like it, yellow is highly visible, and the pouch is like a cell phone case to clip on a belt. The 5mm stapler fit perfectly on my Bug Agility 125 from Kymco. I especially liked the price and would buy again.

Small and compact enough to fit under the seat when not in use. Customer assistance from Ingersoll/Rand is tops. Lost a key on my previous lock that's the same model/color and they replaced it immediately for free. Color matches my CBR.
